I agree, that’s why instead of buying a bunch of flowers to cheer myself up I decided to buy potted primulas. Thanks as always for watching 😊

Thanks so much! 😊 Weather has changed from crazy cold to incredibly mild but very wet, still managing to work through my list of winter jobs though. Good luck with the 2024 seed challenge.

What a joy it must be to be able to buy plants, pot things up, and know you will be able to garden in a couple of days even though it’s late January! All garden centres are closed here, and it’s too cold to transport plants home 😢 The potting shed is a wonderful addition to your garden. I’m sure it will be a game changer for you. I like the way you have it set up now, with the options for more shelving. Have fun potting!

I’m very lucky as a gardener to live in a climate where gardening is still possible in the winter months. I’m very much enjoying pottering around in the potting shed 😊 Thanks for watching and taking the time to comment 🙏

I LOVE the potting shed, very well designed and laid out! And your floral arrangements are just wonderful. I love that idea of just keeping the plant in its container and then putting it into the little metal pail/vase and covering it with the moss, that's genius! Thanks for sharing, having a good one. (Yes, it's VERY cold here in the states, in the Midwest. Tonight it's supposed to get down to -5 degrees, but with the wind chill, they say it will feel like -15 degrees! 🥶) You stay warm, too! Cheers!

That sounds so very, very cold. We are expecting a milder week coming up but with that returns the rain and wind, roll on spring. Thanks for watching 😊

You are an inspiration. Thanks for kindly sharing. I'm looking forward to this year's new projects. Hope that I don't over do it... I've just discovered that a very many great grandfather had a quarry in the seventeen hundreds in Northern England (I think as his sons had a cotton mill in Preston ). His name was Horrocks. (He and his wife had 18 children!)

Thank you for your kind words, very much appreciated. Wow 18 children that is a huge family. Preston in Lancashire was the first place in the UK where spinning and weaving cotton into fabric began. You have a very interesting family history.

I have a back glass room that is not heated, that I have used this winter to protect my rosemary and lavender and topiary boxwoods that I have started. Today, with a small heater, I potted up my live root geraniums. I have to bring them in to get them growing good, but I’m sure by March I can take them back up. I would love a small glass house that you have. You can store everything you need. Beautiful pots. Thanks for the video.

Thank you for watching. I’m so looking forward to do what you have done take root cuttings and even just seed sowing in somewhere dry instead of working outside all the time. Fingers crossed your geraniums make it through the winter. Thanks for sharing 😊

Hi! Really appreciate this video, lovely to see some plants and flowers in dull January, even though I live in Hampshire 😊

Hello Hampshire from Northumberland. I visited Farnborough and Portsmouth (HMS Victory) and a few other places around that area a couple of years ago, lovely part of southern UK. Thanks for watching 😊

Thank you 🙏 I usually have to construct pots outside so it’s a novelty at the moment having an indoor space, even if it’s on the cold side.
