Thanks for the detailed skill tree description. Having a lot of fun with it. I am only level 54 and do not have any Norfleet or sham......those will come later when I go after them, but meanwhile this build has enough skill points to follow yours and it is deadly. Yep I went shock Gaige in TVHM and had a lot of fun with it, we wiped the floor with everything, but as soon as I got to UVHM everything wiped the floor with us.......Grin. Something had to change!! So found your description and I am using it. Just went through the Bloodshot Stronghold and rescued Roland and have not even went into second wind.......nope not once. I use Deathtrap as a diversion mostly, throw the magic missile and hang back just a bit and eat them up with a shotgun or assault rifle and of course pistols if I have a good one. I found that the level 50 corrosive lady fist still eats up loaders at level 54 it has that 800 crit bonus despite its low so called damage and it just destroyed the loaders going after Roland. Oh I am about to sell all snipers......you have to be close enough to slag everything and if not slagged a sniper is totally useless..........so lessons learned as we go. Lol! I suppose snipers would be good for Maya while they are in phase lock....but hey so is a good pistol. Or smg..........so looks like snipers have to go. Just taking up space in inventory. Anyway thanks for the detailed skill tree and explanations, it works well and I can see later that it will as you say..........faceroll the game and you do not even have to cheat......Grin. This is a powerful build. It is facerolling everything right now and I do not even have any of those fancy weapons...........not yet. Learned to manage Anarchy also I caught unto that one pretty quick and I try to keep it around 35 to 60.......somewhere in there at the moment, for general game play........later if going after a raid boss I will try that stacking with a flakker or sandhawk or something or farm Sledge a few times and get a level 61 shotgun from him......it is sadly mostly forgotten but it is a Good Un.............I have played this game 9 times through various levels and with different characters and have never.......never, ever seen a Conference Call.......but I have left many Heads of Jack just lay there after shooting them in disgust. The game will not give me a Conference Call.......but I can get Sledges Shotgun in four to ten tries regular. Thanks!! Cheers! Cheers

That looks incredeibly fun. Brand new to the Borderlands series, never played old gen, but picked up a PS Vita Borderlands 2 edition and so far love the game. I'm only Level 13 with Gaige, but that's because I went back and started all the different class types and played through until I got to Sanctuary with them. You can farm Anarchy stacks at Sanctuary in the training range: 1) Choose a shotgun with a low magazine size (so you reload after 1-2 shots) 2) Every [non-manual] reload after damaging the target will add anarchy 3) You can max anarchy without investing points in *"Typecast IconoClast"* (@ 5:31 ), saving you 5 skill points

for an extra interesting twist, know that "sharing is caring" gives a copy of your CURRENT shield at the time of summoning DT. that means that you can go to your inventory because it pauses the game in singleplayer, slap a flame of the firehawk, summon him, inventory again and put on your sham. that way (like you didn't have enough damage with that build) DT has constant fire novas as long as FotF is empty. he might die faster, though. MIGHT

You know what's really fun. Using the Gibbed program to stick an explosive prefix onto a Norfleet. It's impossible for an explosive Norfleet to drop legitimately in-game. It literally annihilates the entire battlefield instantly.

IMO, the most broken glitch build is Assassin with Grog, Lady fist (Or Crit Fibber), merged into a Lyuda with the Vladof Launcher glitch active. It oneshots most enemies for me

U get the permanent 138% fire rate buff from the better half in addition to the ~30% from the com. Merge in an orc for even more fire rate. Use shadow of the seraphs to get over the fire rate cap. Maybe even merge a grog if u wanna be invincible

You need to spend alot of points to get 15% more damage only with shock weapons, with less points you can get 400% more weapon damage on any weapon using anarchy, you understand why it isnt worth it: 15% with shock weapons vs 400% damage with less points and all weapons, you pick wich one is better.

I would say the fibber suits gaige better and no matter what bahroo says shock gaige can be op it's called the Florentine, slag and shock, which basically becomes 3 elements in her hands, and far easier to obtain than 3 (identical) norfleets. Every build guide on KZbin literally starts with "first you'll need a norfleet" which isn't a build guide it's a gear guide.

You could carry a Transformer shield if you want infinite shield while rocking the shock Norfleet. Unless you are very far away, which you won't be most of the time, your launcher will always hit you with splash damage and Transformer eats shock damage and turns it into shield power. You can switch to a Sham if you need to recharge Rocket ammo but Transformer is better if you're running a shock Norfleet. If your shield never depletes, your health never drops. That makes you invincible unless there are enemies that bypass your shield. As far as I know, such enemies don't exist unless you are playing PvP.

stacking anarchy is waaay better in sanctuary. the test dummy in the shooting range counts towards combat, so using a low capacity shotgun with a high reload speed gets you full stacks in about 5 minutes, even less with typecast iconoclast tuned. On top of that, he dies if you keep marcus' elemental mission in-progress, doubling your stack rate.

Sure Shock Gaige isn't the best Spec but it sure is fun. Also Shock Gaige is "Bad" Yet Shock Athena is Beast? Kk. You Don't need to Match Elements when you have High Base Damage From Anarchy & a Twister.

Sisteelin Fuck excessive damage, You want to play with fire or acid, you play Maya. With how anarchy works, you don't even need to care about elements, high stacks of anarchy already give you enough damage(and healing, with discord) to kill anything with little problems, like you can see in this video. So either you play n OP build that can kill anything in seconds, or you play a balanced build that's actually fun, and you can actually aim. Guys, as long as you have enough damage to kill anything and keep yourself alive, you don't need more damage. Damage is very important but you guys overestimate it.

For anyone like me who struggles to farm for the Sham as it has low drop rate. Do what I did. Get the Transformer shield from Pimon in wildlife. Much easier drop. And just get a low level Logan's Gun by farming in Normal Mode. You don't need a powerful one as it's useless. Just needed for rocket ammo

I'm level 28 and I respeced my Gaige to be a LGT shock build from an OC build. I much prefer it. Anarchy just didn't fit my play style. While I haven't even finished my first playthrough yet, I don't have any issues using shock.

That's what I did my first playthrough, anarchy doesn't fit me either, but trust me, uvhm, hell, even tvhm are so difficult with shock Gaige. I managed to finally reach 72, but I still have so much trouble even with anarchy.

+HeadHunter Yeah, I see that for myself now. I'm level 45 on TVHM and I've had to reset my skill points back into Ordered Chaos/Anarchy. I was getting owned as a shock player. I've ditched all my long range weapons & adapted to slag SMG's & other high rate of fire elemental weapons. It's not my natural play style, but it's a ton of fun & is far more effective. It's pretty satisfying as well. I'm happy. My Class Mod & stone (I can't remember what they are called) is all about improving cooldown rate. Deathtrap is basically always out now. It's fantastic & the reason I chose Gaige.

I fucking loved little big trouble. it is so much cooler than anarchy. it just sucks you just basically have to stop using it at lv45ish, cos it's just not powerful enough. make the most of it before it becomes underpowered

picked up borderlands 2 again the other day and before the build ever came out, the first time i played it i was well on my way to doing this. i really never could understand how people were saying "go down the shock route" which made NO sense to me and really wasn't worth it it good to know from this that i will only be spending at most 10 on the middle tree so i don't have to move to anything else. it seems from this build that really the extra 200 stacks are not necessary because that X7 damage litterally puts you 1 mode above what you are. aka if your in OP8 you now have the power to be in a theoretical OP9

the gaige build i normally use is "electrical burn" i find it works pretty good pretty good, havent found the perfect gear set up yet, but it does ok. i never did an anarchy build, i cant seem to get it to work for me

I use a orphan maker on the practice dummy in marcus shop in sanctuary. Takes about 4mins to stack to 300 and i build back ammo because of my sham. The reduced magazine size doesn't seem to affect pellet count either. Try it.
