1. Match the grip to the manufacturer 2. Sights are pretty much preferential 3. Check the other side of the gun for prefixes 4. Vladof barrel is generally what you want

no, preferably go for Torgue grips for higher base dmg, Bandit grips for bigger mag sizes, try to avoid Maliwan AND Hyperion grips cz they decrease base dmg, all this info is in the video btw

As someone who has been playing Borderlands 2 since release, I haven't bothered learning any of this stuff, so I'm super interested in this. Since the sights seem to be optional, it's a shame there's no sort of attachment shop where you can add them or even replace parts on a gun for Eridium.

NOTE: If you're looking into this after all the DLCs were released, you CAN still get Jakobs weapons with elements. Certain unique weapons, such as the Maggie or the Hot Mama, have energy types, meaning that if you get them with a Maliwan grip? They're still okay! That actually means that they can use their elements BETTER!

You do not always want to match the grip to manufacture. Main problem being the infinity pistol. You up mag size as well as reload speed but you need neither for the infinity

Merging can fix side effects. There's merging the Lascaux which mostly gets rid of recoil, and weapons with +Weapon damage, +Accuracy, and a few others.

10:31 That one's good to have on Dahl pistols. 13:59 Non-elemental E-Tech pistols exist. They deal explody damage, so they could be thought of as explody elemental in the style of BL1 (except that they function like the Needler from Halo). Non-elemental/explody E-Tech pistols are only made by Hyperion and come in two types - Dart and Spiker. I'm still not entirely sure what the diff iz.

See, this right here is why I want a supposed "weaponcraft" system. People say that gun crafting would break Borderlands, but not if its done right. It would only be for red-text blues and all purples and above. You would have to grind for 5 of the same weapon, 1 as a base and 4 to swap parts with (the other guns would be broken down into possibly gun making currency or something), essentially giving you limitless possiblities on the weapons you could make. Want a perfect quad? Start stockpiling them in a separate storage system.

The tinderbox takes two ammo per shot, but if you get the lazer double attackment, it still only takes two ammo per trigger pull ( or at least the one I got from flint ). I'm not shore if it was a glitch or a feature.

I think an ascetically pleasing set of Pistols would look good with: Bandit base without the double drum magazine, Tediore Grip, Dahl barrel, Stock accessory, and a maliwan sight. As Well as: (I don't know on the base... Maybe Jacobs?) That Pretty Looking Dahl Grip, Torgue barrel, Mag size accessory, and a Jacobs sight.

Actually, there is a pistol made by Vladof that has a stock. Its called the Dart and its a really good gun.

Sam Bennett By saying that pistols have no stock he meant that pistols don't have a stock as a weapon PART, in fact, for pistols, (imagine a jakobs revolver like the maggie) can spawn with the "Gunstock" prefix, which adds a stock to the weapon which decreases recoil. But say assault rifles ALWAYS have a stock that can be of different companies and have different bonuses attached to them.

The only grenade parts that show on the grenade itself are what determines delivery method. Class mods have no distinguishable differences in parts.

Some weapons do seriously need damage bonuses, but some don't need them quite as much. For example, snipers moreso benefit from accuracy, as headshots are automatic criticals, and allow for easier kills.
