Boredom by degrees - COIL (demo 1996

Coil was Martin Little (bass/vocals), Scott Akister (guitars/programming) and Jason Puncher (drums). This was our attempt at the Industrial genre that was slowly going mainstream at the time, largley due to success of NIN and Rage etc. All the tracks were recorded on a Fostex 4 track, everything DI'd, vocals were straight from an SM58 in my lounge. Effects and nasty digital distortion came courtesy of a Yamaha REX 50 and a Digitech RP5. The synth was Roland D110, sequencer Yamaha QX5.
A live incarnation of the band did get into Maple rehearsal rooms featuring Paula Puncher on keyboards but never flew the nest.
