I like the choice of instruments, but dislike the changes you made to the song. In your attempt to remix it, all you did was take away the strength of the long hold notes in exchange for a few short meaningless notes. The song doesn't have any room to build up or hold a strong sound. This seems to happen every single time I'm listening to a re-cover or remix of an existing song. The person always takes away held notes for a weaker series of notes. More =/= better.
