Nice video ❤. I learned to ski there in 2011. We said we would never go back after going to France and places. But this year I went back on a lads trip. There was 5 of us. We had a real good time and I’d happily go back. A lot has changed since I first visited 😅. I have a 3 year old daughter I want to get on skis asap. I might look at booking there with the family.

I would recommend it your young children because 121 tuition is cheap, and it isn’t a massive ski area. I took my boy at 3 for the first time. There’s also an English nanny out there so Borovets is ideal for this 😀

We have been twice and stayed at the Rila. It is a fantastic option for your first family ski holiday.

2:10 if you get the shuttle weren’t you waiting at the half way station for a space? There were loads waiting there when we went past and no space for them to get in.

Nope, we got straight on. I can’t believe we spend 1 hour queuing at the gondola on the First day!

Samakov is half the price of the rila. So if you’re on a budget, like myself it’s a no brainier. Obviously you’ve got the money to stay elsewhere, lucky you.

Yes, or you could do what we did and stay in beli Ishkar and hire a car. 🚗 😀

Yeh we stayed there earlier this year. It’s like walking into Russia 50 years ago. Beds weren’t the best and our door wouldn’t lock half of the time. But it was alright, cheap and I’d stay there again.

Yea its cheap as chips staying in anywhere apart from borovets, like 25 quid a night

I think it was 80 lev per child for two hours (around £35 for a 2 hour private lesson) when you book it let us know and we will let you know the English ski instructors x
