Boscombe Down Air Tournament International Airshow, 13th June 1992.

The International Air Tattoo (IAT) at this time was a biennial event usually held at RAF Fairford but the Air Tournament International (ATI) was held at A&AEE Boscombe Down in the intervening year and was Europe's second largest military airshow, after IAT.
This is the video I shot of the weekend, there is also a video of the 14th, and one of the departures day on the 15th.
Highlights included the Confederate Air Forces B-24, Anatoly Kvotchur in his Su-27 Flanker, and a rare flying apperanace in the UK of an F-14 Tomcat.

I was there I crewed the Marine KC-130 there. Tail number 181. Seen about the 9:15 mark.

I was there, simply great weather, I most remember the start of Avro Vulcan - very impressed!

That was a fantastic show, with outstanding weather. I dont bother nowadays ,airshows are dead in the water with way too many rules and regulations.

When the Tu-134 & Su-27 arrived I was on the top of the open top bus you can see at 1:50:32, crossing to the other (live) side of the airfield - we could see the Tu-134 landing, but didn't notice Kvochur's Su-27 until it popped up at the end of the runway, almost directly above us - great surprise, and got a nice pic of him climbing up above us. The early 90's were a great time for air shows - great memories as said below. Thanks for posting this..!
