Bose Software Update: Earbuds FINALLY Get Multipoint!

I got my bose quietcomfort ultra earbuds from amazon last week. Arrived the next morning. My bose buds had the old version 1.7.0. It started automatically downloading the new software over the next hour

Only issue with Bose QC ultra is call quality. Everyone complaints about my call quality when I use these for calls. Other than that, everything else is Awesome. New Multi Point is extraordinary. Sound quality for content and music is top notch. Noise cancellation is KING....

Can you mute/unmute calls from windows on teams or zoom calls?

I've had them before the update and couldn't understand why people were so upset with BOSE for not including it in the first place. Now that I have the updated version, I could understand why. Awesome video. Thank you for the information and keep up the great work sir.

Any issues with weird static crackle coming from either bud when ANC is on with no music playing?

Hi thanks for your overview. I updated my qc ultra and still notice that there’s some weird multifunction bug. Where as soon as I place the earbuds Apple Music and Spotify will not play when I press play button . I have to take the earbuds out put them back in the case . Then take them back out of the case , and now both music services play . Have you experienced this

I haven't on the Ultra ut would recommend you reset the earbuds and then disconnect-reconnect with the app and see if it resolves things.

can more than one ear bud be connected to the bose sound bar? does the bose sound bar recognize apple AirPods?

You can pair the Ultra to compatible Bose Soundbars (requires SimpleSync). For Airpods, I'm not sure.

Hi, I got the earbuds 2 and updated to the latest version (1.3.26), but I cant see the option to multi connection as in your video, I see only the 2 devices that I paired. What I should do?

Agreed. I think they are trying to make the Ultra a must upgrade but for such a common feature, it's a shame Bose didn't add it to the QC2 as well.

Bose app does not show firmware update option under account settings. And the app is updated. Please help

Have you checked the version of firmware you're running? Perhaps it's already updated? That would be the first thing I would check.

Bose is doing a phased roll out, it's possible the update has not been made available for your serial number or region yet. Also, try swiping down or leaving the app open to see if it pulls the update.

My reasoning was that my galaxy buds 2 pro took an accidental swim in a pool I frequent (case is busted, but intermittnely works. The earbuds are fine). My brother still has his sony wf-1000xm4s, but the anc isn't the best with sillicone eartips. So I was looking at, and trial buying the airpods pro 2 and bose qc ultras to try them both out over the next week

Love hate relationship with bose... Love noise cancelling and swipe to adjust sound, rest is pretty poor.
