For those of you who are new to car audio here is a quick way to figure out amplifier power. Volts x Fuse x .6 (Class AB) or .8 (Class D) = Watts. For example the amp in the video has 2x 35 Amp fuses for a total of 70 Amp. So take 13.3 Volts x 70A Fuse x .6 (Class AB Efficiency ) = 558.6 So you know that this amplifier is around 550 watts RMS power.

Something is not right I have the same subs and it sounds NOTHING like this.. mine sounds loud and clean... first get 1 ported box for both the subs and either get a mono block amp or a 2 ohm 2 channel amp and you can bridge them, second make sure you are wiring the subs the right way... there's a lot of ways to wire those subs so make sure you do it right.. for the mono block amp you have to wire both 4 ohm subs down to 1 ohm and for the 2 channel amp you have to wire both subs down to 2 ohms then they will hit like they are suppose to

Boss does NOT put out the power it says, the amp is probably only putting out 250w. 1 12 inch kicker or Memphis running 300w is louder than that.

If this is your first car audio stay away from boss audio. Pay just a little more and you will tell the difference. Boss are real cheap and sound is terrible. One 12 inch sub like audiopipe bd4 bd4 or bd2 will sound 10 times better. Or American bass. Skar audio. American bass. Trust me. You can still find some cheap quality built subs that sound way better and last longer. Not knocking your set up. Got to start somewhere.

Damn where do i begin your setup is all the way fucked up your box is too small 12s require about 2ft to 2.5 ft per sub also if you are running a boss 2500 watt amp then you are under powering your subs you are gonna burn up your amp or possibly blow your subs if you are sending a clipped signal boss audio lies about their power ratings also from the sounds of it you are clipping im listening to this on my phone and i can hear the sounds of the subs which means there is a high frequency being emitted because little cell phone speakers cant reproduce low frequency sounds so if im hearing it its a high frequency that is a way to test for clipping on your amp is to hook up a small components speaker to your amp and set your LPF to a low frequency that the component cant produce and then set your gains while playing a 40 or 50 hz test tone at 0 DB and when you turn your gains up if you hear the component speaker start to make noise its clipping because like i said clipping is reproduced as a high frequency so the little speakers will pick it up but yeah your system wont last long im also betting that you didnt do a big 3 upgrade or anything and if you are trying to play with anything over 1k watts you need to upgrade your electrical system.
