THANK YOU for 1- starting with the high gain sound, 2- showing your adjustments for each sound, 3- recording in STEREO, because mono recording always suck, 4-demonstrating the way volume know works with high gain model, 5- Playing relevant examples for each sound, 6- no talking, 7- no begging for likes or subscriptions, which is why I liked and subscribed. If more so-called video reviews did just these few things, we viewers would waste far less time and face much less annoyance. Kind regards and respect sir! ;-)

by far the best value/sound from a multi effects pedal and even has the expression pedal. i've had mine for a few years and i still use it. you'd have to get a GT 1000 to get a noticeable sound difference. The GT 1 and GT 100 both have 24 bit processing. The GT 1000 has 32 bit processing.

I just bought one of these today. Got it brand new for a $145 shipped on Reverb because of the videos (this one includes). Here are the reason why I purchased this one and I used to have a Helix. First, the tones...they are excellent. Two, it has a USB connection so I can record directly into my DAW. Three, the size is perfect (Helix was extremely heavy and bulky) and because it can run on batteries it’s really portable.

@@jorgeguitar2540 Yes I use it weekly. I had to put a noise gate and Boss EQ in front of it. Mostly because my house is aluminum frame not wood (for hurricanes) so extremely noisy and the EQ just to shape things (some OD's can be muddy, EQ cleans things up). Put a power supply under it too. If you go to my Instagram (Same Username as YT), go back a few months and you'll see pictures.

@@jorgeguitar2540 That's the beauty, you can add whatever external pedal you want. I have not used it as an interface yet. It would be done the same way, whatever DAW you have is where the editing is done. Currently, this pedalboard is in my bedroom and not in my ManCave where I have more equipment. If you don't have a DAW you can use Audacity or Reaper which are free. If you go to my KZbin Channel (click my username) I do have guitar covers there (Foo Fighters, Whitesnake) and was done with Audacity actually. Just plugged my Helix into my PC via USB right into Audacity. Did all my editing there.

All boss processors are great in clean, chorus, reverb etc...., distortion I find a bit digital (depends on listeners) Just need to add a distortion pedal and all good to record or gig...., peace

Boss distortion does sound digital. Thing is, I really like the digital sound. I'm the only person I know who loves it though.

As always with multi FX units some sounds are not that useable, But with this unit it’s got to be the best value multi FX ever in my opinion, the quality of the presets are fantastic you don’t have to much tweaking it’s all done for you, I’ve had countless multi FX units over the 50 years I’ve been playing the boss GT1 is a winner for sure

Hallo Kollegie, Der Sound in den Kopfhörern ist ???? gut, aber ich spiele das Mischpult, obwohl sich im Menü eine Line befindet. Dieser Sound unterscheidet sich vom Sound in den Kopfhörern. Der Sound ist nicht dynamisch und sehr plastisch. Warum? Muss gleich sein,wie in Kopfhörern. 2.Klänge mit großem Gain, die leiser als clean sind, tragen jedoch nicht dazu bei, die Lautstärke des Patches zu erhöhen, viel Gerauch, und sie lösen sich in der Musik auf, die Gitarre verschwindet. Sorry mein Deutsch ist nict perfekt

Let me ask! When I am playing electric guitar and listening directly with my Headphone from GT-1, the sound is perfect and very good; But when I record/play with Focusrite Scarlett 6i6 USB Audio Interface; DAW Cubase 8; The sound is not good. I can not get the original sounds. Please help me.

Sound changes with every medium. The cabinet, Mic placement, gain structure EQ, room everything plays a part. The older generation digital modelers doesn't have the detailed modeling to sound good in however way, the low end and ultra Hi frequency are lesser and Mid-Freq details are not modeled accurately. The newer generation modelers like Fractal AX8, Helix, Kemper, Bias Head even Mooer Ge200 does much more detailed and better job in recreating amp tones. However these measures can help: One needs to have an ear for how much low, Mid and Hi must the amp have, usually for GT series 45, 62, 48 and 0-25 presence works. Less Gain is better, sometimes chaning Cab models to 2×12, 4×12 works...with of mic and Mic position 4. Sometimes a RAT, Guvnor, T-screamer, turbo Od, Moden Dist work will little gain +2 low and - 5 tone works. Use a eq to cut low at 55 and Hi and 8Khz. Put phaser before preamp, Wah after dis. As for recording the tone 1. Put output to Line/ Headphones and output level to +4decibles 2. Do not use Delay and reverb to record the track, put time based effects post tracking. 3. Use decent amount of Mid frequency in the amp tone, cut hi and add presence. 4. Check whether the output is clipping. 5. Record multiple track for each section and the. Pan them left and right. Stacking 2 to 4 layers per track gives a much better result. Also use different and settings to slightly add color to the layers. Finally try to add delay and reverb in tempo with the song and master the mix add compression to clean tracks...a bit of Eq here and there
