@Double D Guitar i found this video to be incredibly helpful and valuable Thank you! I recently created a patch, but the wah that I assigned to the EXP 1 SW is indeed getting activated, but the pedal reverses to volume when moving up and down; it's not performing the wah functionality. Can yo please advise me on how I can set the EXP Pedal to both work as volume and wah for more than just on-off?
@DoubleDguitar Жыл бұрын
I am glad you found the video and got some info from it! I want to make sure I am following you, you are only feeling the volume effect from the exp pedal? I know I had to calibrate my pedal, but only because the last option during calibration is the sensitivity for the EXP SW, which I lowered to about 3 or 4. This made it easier to activate the switch and make the treadle become a wah, and vice versa back to volume. Try adjusting the sensitivity of that last option during calibration, if you are having trouble getting it to trigger.
@shneurlieberman5388 Жыл бұрын
@@DoubleDguitar Thank you for taking the time to respond, it's very much appreciated! I will convey my issue more clearly and understandable: After adjusting the sensitivity (which i learned how to do from your video so thank you!), the wah works like regular on all the factory, and my custom presets. But after I tried to add a wah to a new preset I downloaded and uploaded from Tone Lab, The wEXP only works for the on-off function, but it's not working as a wah. When the wah gets activated, the EXP function as a volume pedal. Could there be some kind of Control function setting that's missing or was set differently by the fellow who actually made the preset? This is what i am thinking but I don't know what I would have to do.
@DoubleDguitar Жыл бұрын
@@shneurlieberman5388 you’re welcome and hopefully we can figure it out. I am not near mine, at the moment, but I am wondering if maybe you could try to add the volume pedal instead of the wah, and then check your settings to make sure you are on vol/wah. Maybe the expression pedal itself is assigned to a parameter within the patch you are using, as well. So it could be that the patch is trying to do a little too much with the Exp pedal. If your other patches are doing what you want, then we know it isn’t a global assignment that need tweaking, it sound like an assignment within the patch is interfering or interrupting the wah action on this patch.
@shneurlieberman5388 Жыл бұрын
@DoubleDguitar Thank you for the help. I went into the control function and saw that the exp was only assigned to the volume, so following your advice, i switched it to FV-Wah, and it now works how it is supposed to. That’s a good question. I do not think you can place the BT audio in the signal path the way you can a pedal, which is how you would do this in a dual output situation.
