Boss wasn't all the way studio gangster, she was a REAL DEAL GANSTER dealing with issues that come from those environments Boss and her partner crime(IRENE MORE), having to move from Detroit to LA MsBoss had to do street shit to survive in the streets of LA just to make ends meet until the record deal fell through, in other words she wasn't complete Studio Gangsta, some songs she made came from her brief stint in them streets of LA resulting in criminal type activities. I know this because I remember back in the day when the Source Magazine gave her an interview she stated the struggle she endured when moving out west searching for a record deal

To see something so beautiful with a apex mind share life and how hard it was gave courage to young people all over the world. As a male you taught me do not allow what you see to blind you. And also things change so don't conform to just one thing. Women ask why and even she can touch you. I always wondered what ever happened to you? reminiscing and with time on my hands I was able to find out today and am glad you are in good spirits. Do not be afraid to continue to lift your voice. In defense of Boss and may she Rest in Peace 🕊️💗. Like many male rappers....studio gangsters possess skillz and talent....rappers are poets...and it is a gift to be able to express yourself through clever and deep lyrics...Singers don't actually have to experience love to sing about it.

BOSS was a legend & very underrated. RIP 🕊I too am from Detroit & was in a rap group waaaay back in the early 90s. It was hard to come out from the D. I'm glad people are learning of her, but Snoop & others could have posted her when she was alive.

LOL! My sister had her cd, and she sporting the same brown jacket as my brother must have been a fashion of the 90s
