If you've never been in a crowd singing the anthem, that's something you need to put on your bucket list. Me, I went to a symphony about a month back--nowhere near this size, maybe 150 people if that, but still more than a handful--and since it was the first performance of the season, the orchestra played the anthem. They don't have a vocalist but a couple lines in you heard someone in the crowd starting to sing, then someone else joins in. And then another. Before too long the whole theater is singing and I'm breaking out in goosebumps

This totally gave me chills. I'm a Flyers fan to the bone but an even bigger hockey fan overall and I give a lot of respect to Rene Rancourt and the fans that go to Bruins games, they definitely have heart and this moment was amazing to hear!

Remember this like it was yesterday. Happened to walk into a pub in hyannis after exploring the cape on a beautiful spring morning. As the anthem started, and the crowed started singing, as did the bar. By the end, the place was going absolutely crazy and the bar tender was smashing the bell behind the bar. It was incredible.
