No Bostonian would say shark and shock the same way. Shark is. Shaahk. Shock is shawk. The inability to do the an and o right is the biggest indicator or poor attempts at the accent , When people say “Bahstin”. It’s not even close but mimics always say that way. the city is pronounced Bawstin.
