@@jaiku99 Parroting that communism is totalitarian while pointing at soviet union is sheer intellectual dishonesty. You don't know what socialism is either. Communism is a classless, stateless, and moneylesss society. In marx's view, its a society where all internal contradictions have come to an end. The only time it existed was many many years back. Primitive communism is what it was called. There are evidences that it was practiced in the indus valley civilization as well. Historians have even pointed out that it was a prosperous and egalitarian society for it had no hierarchies and divisions. Saying communism is totalitarian is oxymoron. Every communist society in history was destroyed through external threats like invaision or a natural calamity. Today its even harder to build communism. Every experiments on communism(be it soviet union, cuba, vietnam, china) in the past 2 centuries, became authoritarian following external invaisions/embargoes/CIA backed coup. For a deep understanding, let me break down russia for example. Prior to 1917 revolution, russia was a feudal socity with rampant poverty and famine, had gone throughramificationsof world war 1. Post revolution and lenin taking over the state, it had braved a civil war, followed by invaision by france, usa and UK. Throughout the 20s amd 30s, russia was heavily sanctioned by the US and france, constantly at war with the white army. In 1935, soviet union was the most affected by world war 2. Power HAD to be centralized for it to survive such external threats, and huge sums money had to be spent on heavy industrialization (especially defence) compromising human rights and essentials. Despite all that, soviet union still emerged as the 2nd biggest economy and the fastest growing economy(1st being usa)in the 19th century and that too in a matter of 4 decades. It had significantly reduced poverty, raised life expectancy, advanced in space technologies, had a higher calorie consumption rate than usa (as per CIA's own report). Lenin or stalin or any of the premiers never once claimed to have achieved communism. That's why the name ussr i.e union of soviet SOCIALIST republic. Communism isn't something that happens overnight. Even modern day china calls itself as "socialism with chinese characteristics". The purpose of definition is to separate a thing, from what its not. So yeah, learn your definitions before you talk.

Indian nationalism is based on co existance and cooperation.Only a nation that is proud of it's rich heritage and enriched values will progress and thrive. One cannot compare it with the saddists of Italy and Germany. Jayasankar know the extremes but he lacks the awareness of the middle path...which is very Indian. He had not explored himself. Without self exploration .. one cannot have a fair view of Indian Nationalisum.
