Very nice! Something I've never heard of, I'll be buying some and I'll tell them I saw them On Surge Outdoors Angling. Thanks for covering this.

Thanks for watching I just wanted to take something from scratch & see if I could catch fish, test a product I’ve never had in the water before. Put that together on a lake I’ve never fished walleye on in my boat. I think it worked out good. Good product. Most of the time you just have to go through the motions. Find the fish, pick a technique & throw it at them. Change some colors and try to dial them in.

What kind and size of weight?
@surgeoutdoorsangling Жыл бұрын
Pk Wobbler Live Bait Spinner Rig, weight depends on how deep the fish your targeting are. Those fish were approx 20 feet so 2 - 2 1/2 oz bottom bouncer. I use straight quick change bottom bouncers so I can switch them out fast with out untying my rigs. Easy storage, just unclip weight and tie rig to rod hook. Then into a rod glove to protect it. Also with straight quick change bouncers you’ll catch more fish because your line feeds straight through the weight directly to your rig. When you feel the fish it’s the fish.. with an R-bend or 90deg bottom bouncer the fish has to pull back your weight before you feel it. Be surprised how light fish can bite sometimes.

I like watching the videos, especially from blackstrap, whereI fish. Unfortunately, I don’t ever catch a thing. Some questions, what did you mean by 1.2 or 1.4? Where do you get PK wobbler? Is it only for trolling?

Mph

1.2-1.4 mph was the speed I was bottom bouncing. I started at 1.2 which is a common speed for bouncing blade rigs like Montana blades, colorado blades ect.. I wasn’t getting many bites & I was on fish. So I bumped the speed up gradually, once I hit 1.4 mph I started catching fish. So speed plays a part along with bait choice & color when bottom bouncing any type of rig. PK wobbler can be found at PK Lures website online. You can purchase pre made rigs or just multi packs of floats. The multi packs of floats you can use to tie your own rigs. Yes the rigs are only for bottom bouncing. So using a bow mount trolling motor and a bottom bouncer. I was using a 2 oz bottom bouncer.

Fish on every body of water can move a lot, they can travel from one end of a lake to the other in a single day moving km’s if they want or have a reason to. Sometimes they stay put on a hump or weed line because of wind direction or food location. You have to really drive around and get on top of fish to be successful. That morning I was out fishing from 8am- approx 12. I checked about 4 locations before coming across those fish. Then I pieced together how to catch them. Mark Fish on your electronics, then Pick a technique to try and catch them. Change colors, speed or technique.
