Had a banner summer fishing for walleye. Learned alot from watching videos over last winter. Keep up great work! It is a long way from you, but the detroit river down in windsor Ontario will offer you walleye fishing as good as anywhere in north America. Even trophy musky. Would be great to see you guys do a video there!

Great video, I use this technique in my area quite often in heavy current and narrow shipping lanes. One thing to mention that I didn’t see in the video is that you should not back troll with wind or current, be aware of the water conditions and possibly larger boats passing by. Back trolling can be an easy way to swamp a transom if you don’t know what you are doing. 🇨🇦🦫

Bottom bouncing is awesome on kayaks too, tie up a bunch of rigs and head out. I try to maintain 1.25mph, since I'm running them on a kayak and can't actually hold the rod unless I'm using a chute to pull me along a current I use 1oz bouncers until I hit 15' then switch to a 3oz to keep that depth really helps on those days when you can't find pods but know they're holding within a few feet of the bottom and not willing to rise to a flat lined crankbait. Of course nothing beats going vertical when you start marking.
@kevindulude-maher30223 жыл бұрын
When I bottom bounce, I find using a floating jig head at the end of the spinner with a minnow type soft plastic is the best. We have a lot of goby here in the great lakes system and I find using worms or leeches just means you get robbed over and over by goby. The goby never touch the soft plastic and it produces almost just as much.

Sorry man, I need to disagree with the boring comment. Many great times have happened for me with bottom bouncing. I do like that you said “I don’t know why we don’t bottom bounce more often”. Looks like you had fun making this one. BTW. Catch and Cook is the bomb! Also love the Whiteout, use it in/on lots of dishes.

Holey F....sSmoke!! 🤣 I am actually using a bullet sinker instead of a bottom bouncer with a spinner. It is very effective tight to weeds edges because it is very weeds/snag resistant... = more fish. I am using a 1/8 oz bullet sinker with a spinner having a float on it.

Props to invasive species center for the sponsor. Grass carp are very harmful to ecosystems. Let's help spread the word. I'm in southern Wisconsin, and the are moving up from Illinois. Soon they will be like the zebra muscles, everywhere. Our fisheries will die off. The fellow at the beginning speaks the truth.
