@@BondingOverBourbon I found a bottle of Wild Turkey Spirit of Kentucky for a good price and a Heaven Hill Grain to Glass Straight Bourbon. I have been wanting to try both, so glad they had them. Still looking for Heaven Hill Grain to Glass Wheated Bourbon...hopefully my patience will pay off.

Just cracked it open. Big smell of peanut skin on the nose. The smell translates slightly to the palate with a little bit of red berry fruitiness. Surprisingly, it does not drink like it's 132.1 proof on the first sip. Not much burn at first, but it adds plenty of peppery heat on the tongue as it starts to open up on the second taste. Dangerously smooth and a pretty delicious pour. Would definitely like to revisit after it's had some time to breathe, but I would recommend it regardless. Thanks for watching! Good selection of allocated at Ryan’s but horrible prices. I got an Elmer T Lee recently for $48.99 in Rockford, IL. Routinely get EH Taylor Small Batch for $50-55, EH Taylor Single Barrel for $65, Eagle Rare for $40-$45 and Blanton’s for $80. Picked up a Blanton’s Gold last week at Woodman’s in Rockford for $126. Blood Oath Pact 10 for $150 and Orphan Barrel Indigo Hours for $195. Just have to be there at the right time when they drop. 🥃

Nice finds! We still have to make it out to that Woodman's sometime soon. We weren't in love with some of the tags here, but their pricing for 1792 Full Proof, regular Joseph Magnus, and a few other things were closer to typical pricing that we see. The Michter's special releases also dry up super quickly these days, so we were ok with the markup before it hit $250-300. Thanks for watching!

@DanielC95 Now that would be a true hunt. We haven't seen any of those bottles outside of raffles in IL. Closest place we've seen is a gas station liquor store near the border of KY with a crazy amount of rare bottles.

Probably shoulda grabbed that Sagamore Port finish if you don't have it. That doesn't leave the distillery often and is said to beat out Midwinters and most other port finished products.
