Hello Bourbon Guys, I thought I'd suggest another song by a group that, I believe, you've reacted to before and seemed to enjoy their work their genre is bluegrass so, I thought you might enjoy giving this tune a listen, if interested. "Alison Kraus & The Union Station - Chactaw Hayride - Live, 2002" (by the channel: dahliacorona) --This song is from their album called "New Favorite" released in 2001. This instrumental tune was written by Union Station dobro player Jerry Douglas, who wanted to showcase Kraus's fiddle-playing skills. This track features uneven bars and a captivating fiddle part that adds to its charm. And as always, I enjoyed rocking with you two. Thanks for sharing. peace out~

You needed to listen to Hootie Darius Rucker live. Fantastic. If you would have realized Lady Antebellum was the people in the car and in the bar listening to them and duck dynasty woke him up at the end so he realized what he did was a dream. Hootie will never be beat no matter who he goes by.

So they cut old barrel staves into triangle pieces and send them off (sorry but where they send them slips my mind) and they "power infuse" (whatever that means) the wood pieces with honey. They get them back and put the triangles in a mesh bag and insert it into the barrels to age for 9 more months.

Interesting song here. The chorus was recorded as part of a demo record back in 1973 by Bob Dylan. 25 years later Ketch secor from OCMS wrote verses for it and they recorded it. Interesting way to get credit for co-writing a song with Dylan lol. I loved Hootie and the Blowfish and especially Darius' voice. However, he is just one of the latest who found they no longer had a pop audience so he turned to pop country. Neil Diamond tried it years ago too. Didn't work then. I would appreciate Darius more if he was paying dues and earning his country accolades. Charlie Daniels took over 30 years to get invited to be a member of the Grand Ole Opry, Darius was in town about 20 minutes when he got made a member. I do agree that I would listen to either if they came on though. Nicely written Ketch.

Bob Dylan originally wrote and recorded the chorus in 1973. OCMS added verses 25 years later and the song went platinum.

First: Thank you Stephen for another great bribe. Second: in total agreement with both of you as to the merits of each version. That being said, however, unless I can get Rucker’s vocals laid down on top of OCMS music, his is the version I’ll listen to. I reckon that other poor guy can’t help the way he sounds, bless his heart.
