Good comment on the treadmill. The inverted side is a concern to me that another reviewer did not point out.

I'm in the market of buying one of these but I worry about if you can use this without the App. You said you can't just turn it on and go without the app. Please provide an update on not using these apps with the treadmills. Thank you.
@bigguytreadmillreview2 жыл бұрын
You can use the Bowflex without the app but functionality will be limited. You will be able to use the treadmill in the manual model and you will be able to use the built in programs. If you want a ton more info, check out our full review site and look at the 2022 comparison charts: bigguytreadmillreview.com/

Thanks for the review Mike. How tall are you for reference? I'm 6'6 310lbs so I'm trying to find something that would fit my frame but since that screen doesn't tilt I don't know how useful it would be for me.

Good video. Can you talk about the dimensions next time? I’m always looking to space save whenever I’m looking to buy a treadmill for my house. In which this is the case. I’m looking to replace my Bowflex BXT116 with something that’s just as good with a smaller footprint.

Can you third-party apps with this treadmill like KZbin or web browsing?
@bigguytreadmillreview11 ай бұрын
Bowflex has their own proprietary app called JRNY and everything will run through that, including their music. I am 99% sure that you cannot use 3rd party apps as they want your monthly membership $$$. If you do not want to be stuck, the key is to look for treadmills that use FTMS Bluetooth. This is what allows you to use your own tablet and existing 3rd party apps like Kino Maps. This way you are not stuck with one app.

Thanks Mike. Just a consideration, can we have a shot of the console and controls from a walker/joggers perspective when you do these reviews? It helps my decision if I can get a sense of the cockpit.

Can you lock the treadmill so nobody but you uses it ? This would be a cool feature if it had one, to prevent kids from injury etc..

Unfortunately, no. You will want to unplug the treadmill and hide the cord to be 100% safe.

@@bigguytreadmillreview I'm still looking for a treadmill that has my needs, I tried Nordick x32i and they wouldn't deliver it because it doesn't fit in my door, I tried Bowflex but they don't sell the latest one T22 I think to the UK. When I looked into the one below I could get that, but heard from so many people that its not that great. Would you by any chance happen to know another brand that has some similar states to this T22 bowflex, or Nordick x32i I can't afford the life fitness or technogym and precor ones, 10k+ is a little crazy. btw Thanks.

Hi Big Mike, is there a safety feature beside the stop/pause button?
@bigguytreadmillreview2 жыл бұрын
There is definitely things you can do to keep kids and pets safe. Probably the best thing to do is pull the power cord and keep it in a separate location. Some treadmills you can do the same thing with the safety key.

That I don't know. If it has FTMS Bluetooth then it would be compatible. I would assume Bowflex would advertise FTMS is it had it.

Just bought one. (my kid absolutely had to get a treadmill. I wanted their elliptical, but…no. Dad gets little say. (well, to tell the truth, I did get their Velocore 22 like two years ago and love it. (it's their spin bike that simulates turns by allowing leaning left/right), and their ellipticals looks like very function-filled units.) I'm about to unbox and attempt assembly of this T10. At 351 lbs, this is one heavy (and huge) box. No idea how I'm gonna shoe-horn it into its room. Maybe lube up the hallway. 😅

The decline is a feature that is used with training apps, that they try and simulate realistic climbing and walking downhill, that is why they have a decline, just wondering does the screen move or tilt in anyway? enough to fit a large size 17" portable TV on front instead of a tablet?
@bigguytreadmillreview2 жыл бұрын
The screen does not move with the decline, it stays at the same heigh. This is the same with an incline too.

I bought one, there's lots of shutting down issues, just because it lost the wi-fi signal for a few seconds, right in the middle of my workout it just shut down. This is basically the only thing I hate about it. It should run even if it loses the signal for 10 seconds. If you want to just jump on and get going on a treadmill, this isn't it. It takes a few minutes to get going, even longer if it has to update. Also, it loses wi-fi, then you basically have a big paper weight, it will not work without wi-fi.
@bigguytreadmillreview Жыл бұрын
Thanks for the feedback, that is actually inconvenient and potential customers should be aware of that!
@jlew68908 ай бұрын
I just bought this model for my wife. After getting it assembled, we can’t seem to just “get on and go”, it’s making you create a profile and sync with WiFi. Then, it makes you “assess” each time you get on it. We’re hoping that we’re overlooking something because this isn’t ideal whatsoever. Would really hate to return it. If anyone can assist, we’d appreciate it.

Had one and returned it…. Total lemon. Lots of problems and no fixes. Sent me new video console and grip sensors and still did not fix the problem. Repair guy finally came out and said he had seen lots of issues with these. Bowflex even sent out a new replacement machine but we decided to return both with no faith in the longevity. We own some other Bowflex and never had a problem. Rushed to market without quality control during the pandemic. Avoid
@bigguytreadmillreview2 жыл бұрын
That is the hardest part about these inexpensive brands like Bowflex and Sole, Nordic Track, etc... they can have really inconsistent quality control. I really would suggest looking at the 3G Cardio Pro Runner. Made in Taiwan which is HUGE! Quality control and final product is much better and the overall performance and feel will be higher. Worth checking out!

I bought one roughly 2 years ago and it's a disaster. Always had problems with it. First the motherboard went out because the speed/incline/decline kept fluctuating on its own. Second, it kept shutting down right in the middle of a run and that happened several times. Finally one day, the screen monitor would not come on. The red light would come on showing it was getting power but screen would not come on. I had an extended warranty but didnt matter because they discontinued making those monitors. They ended up refunding me my money and had to trash the treadmill. Dont waste your time with this unit or any Bowflex unit, customer service was crap as well and no help. Their system for helping customers is all jacked up.

Exact same thing happened to me. I called this morning to get some help in getting it fixed and instead was told out of warranty and I could buy replacement console for $800. No thank you. Unfortunately, I didn't read reviews before purchasing this treadmill 2 years ago. So disappointed with Bowflex. I now need to pay for bulk trash to come remove this broken piece of junk from my office.
