Thanks. You advocate the back cut. I would like to see that tested as well. Also a cut at 45 degree angle away from the elbow and towards the elbow.

I think most people would lose all will to keep fighting after receiving a wound like that!! Great videos! I look forward to every one.

Awesome scientific approach. To study the human anatomy and know its natural weak areas and focus on those only makes the chances in ones favor when it comes to surviving an encounter. What ever threat what that hand held is no longer viable without a doubt. So the arm was not completely hacked off, I still call that a success. Great test of the blade also, shows it will take abuse and not leave you in a bind when its needed the most. I almost missed the snap cut at the end of the swing for extra blade speed . You definitely tried for the sever.

+stephen bass Thanks for the thoughts. The snap cut just before making contact is nearly unnoticed due to the speed of the blade. In the number 2 cut, no snap cut was used, just a power stroke and one can tell that cut got closer to the goal of severing than the #1 cuts

Pretty good knife ,it takes good technique to go through something as tough as that but it can be done with that knife ,it's all in the technique.🤔
