Bowling Explained - The 4 and 5 Step Approach!

What effect does a 3 step have vs the 4 or 5? I tend to do a 3 step approach because I have permanent dizziness and I don't lose any balance. I've been trying a 4 step, but the way I was shown by a PSO keeps my ball behind me long enough that I begin to lose balance. This leads to a 5th and potential 6th step to catch myself from falling. Is a 3 step allowed for leagues, aside from fun leagues?

Any step is allowed in any form of bowling.

Kyle Sherman does a nice 3 step approach when he has to be in front of the ball return!

@@crusherb23 that makes sense. It's probably easier to work around the return that way. I'll have to look up some videos. Thanks!

Like previous comments have said, a 3 step is absolutely allowed. It's not as common but can be handy when the lanes are burnt and you need to stand in front of the ball return
