If i make the bag larger, do I also need to increase the bottom area it stands on (the 1 1/2 cut outs)?

Hi @sueraherimanjato6935 , Yes I would make it larger too. I kind of guesstimate for my boxed corners. On this bag I cut 1.5" squares out of bottom to create approximately a 3" box side. So if you want a 6" box side I would cut out a 3" square. Basically you would cut out a square half the finished size you want. It's not perfect but close enough for me. I have a question. Is there a rule of thumb to know how much to cut out of the bottom of the fabric to get the right size square bottom. Here you showed one inch square. If a person makes a different size bag. I am curious. How do you know how much to cut out to make that perfect square bottom. BTW. Such a cute idea.
