Very touching story. I lost my mother to breast cancer and gaming has been a huge part of keeping me afloat. I just started watching Dota this year and I've been a Liquid fan since SC2 beta. I watched Liquid's dominance throughout this year and it is inspiring. Boxi seems like a very humble and respectable person and I hope they can pull through this TI for him, his mom, and TL.

This vid made me tear up. You are so damn strong Samuel! Couple of years ago my mom got cancer and this year I started having problems with my stomach and i had to go to hospital and they confirmed i had ulcerative colitis and after couple of months with medication i didnt get better I ended up back in the hospital and the doctor said that it seems that my body is not resonding on the medication and his recommendation was to remove my large intestine and these years have been the worst years of my life. That you can play on the top level and be one of the best players in the world is so crazy for me. No wonder Im just a bad Ancient player and probably never will get any better. Please keep on fighting Boxi❤

I have been a huge fan of this team since they were on Alliance and I really loved this information. I knew that Boxi was never a problem for this team to win, but all of this context makes everything that happened in the past make much more sense. BOXI, Make sure to take care of yourself first before worrying about anything else! You keep going buddy this TI if your body feel good. As an old (nth)Alliance fanboy, I remember the game when they faced EGM (turtlemasters I think) and basically dropped E.E for him after that. EGM during that era was one of the players I enjoyed watching the most and got kinda sad that he got dropped. And with the new(old) Alliance roaster you guys came in and I started to enjoy watching again. I see a lot of game decisions Boxi makes and relate to them, almost as I can see how it would be if I went pro myself back in the dotaleage/hon days.
