Great conceptual breakdown coach thanks. Question - So, what do they mean by punch power coming from the legs? Could you please list the most important muscles to develop for punch power? I.e. Lats, Core rotation?

Great question, they mean it comes from the legs becomes if you are sky diving and throw a punch in the air there is very little power since it is very hard to create rotational force when you are not standing on something or up against something. The trunk muscle to exhilarate rotation, the rhomboids, posterior delts to brace for the force and the hand grip to make the punch solid as a rock when you hit and allow you to throw as hard as possible with minimum damage. Strong legs are you base to do anything and everything in a sport where you are standing so that should have attention as well. Watch out for my vid that comes out today at 6 pm EST about power punching!

@coachKeithKeppner I'm still working through your videos so you may of covered this topic already but I'd love you to comment on developing a fighters' mentality and still fighting aggressively when outmatched rather than being intimidated and just trying to survive. Im assuming you just need to develop defence and be okay with taking damage but maybe some anecdotes of fighters you've seen develop toughness over time and how you would do it? Also any content for southpaws would also be great I.e. setting up an effective jab (multi jab strategy?), landing the lead hook in an open stance match up or inside fighting. Thanks Coach! You're the best on KZbin keep up the great long form content.
