Lennox is a genuine ATG. He fought in an era bursting with HW talent and became undisputed. Beating everyone he ever fought, including fellow greats Mike Tyson, Evander Holyfield and Vitali Klitschko These are massive achievements. Lennox also halted the ascendance of great hard hitting contenders too, inflicting defeats on Shannon Briggs here, David Tua, Tommy Morrison and others. Plus, he avenged in style, his only two losses against Oliver McCall and Hassan Rahman. A fantastic resume and to this day, Lennox remains the last undisputed HW champion of the world. Great video bud. Fair, knowledgeable, objective and respectful. I'm subscribing.

The way Lewis smiled to himself during Briggs attack where he just missed with those big shots, then flattened Briggs, is a classic scene of Lewis’s career. Lewis was and is a top 5 GREAT. And anyone saying tyson fury would have beaten him is just showing their lack of boxing knowledge. Lewis DEALT with all the top guys in his era, and even dealt with the (just) 2 guys who beat him, making him a heavyweight champion who holds wins over EVERY MAN HE EVER FACED and he never ducked anyone either. Riddick Bowe ducked him. So did Tyson for that matter, until he had to face Lewis just for the money. Lennox was way better than anyone around today.

I also like how they smile when the opponent puts them in trouble, they both did it in some seconds only, Lennox in trouble smiles then knocks Briggs who smiles on the floor😆 They both always showed respect, Shannon pretty recently was embarassed by Bowe saying shit about Lennox, he said again he was not in shape that day but Lennox won anyway. The guy was a beast, almost got Lennox in this 1st round, not on a lucky punch like McCall and Rahman but by overwhelming and outboxing him, one of the only times it happened. I can remember only Bruno putting Lennox so much in trouble.

@@stephengodsmark4353 Ali was extremely overrated. He was mainly a character and persona that made him attractive to the masses. He was a personified attention-getter with his activism and public speeches. He was loved. As a boxer he had the best footwork in the business and great speed for a HW but that's about it. His lack of substantial defense and his "let them gas out on my head" tactic ruined his brain. He wasn't a very big HW either. He would have no chance against a big tall man, big puncher, excellent technician and tactician like Lewis. Lewis was on another level and no matter the hype about other fighters he's clearly the GOAT.

@Helladius666 couldn't agree more. Ali was like a middle weight when he started and had great skills. Vitali had a bad cut under his left eye, but he also had a much worse gash over the same eye, they were trying to pack it out with stuff, which you're not supposed to do, and it wasn't the ref, it was the ringside doctor who made the call. It was unfortunate for Vitali, who was up on all the scorecards, but it was fair, as all the damage had been done by punches. I love boxing I’m Scottish and I love boxing more than football and that’s quite the statement where it’s almost religious football in Scotland. So most who have watched the game in my case I’ve watched boxing since the Jim Watt days and there’s two kinds of boxers. The boxer and the fighter and most are either or and only in times when it’s bite down on the gum shield to the two types of approaches become one. Briggs was definitely a fighter and brave and beyond question he had hand speed that was blurring and every thing thrown was venomous. If Briggs had been more disciplined and precise he’d have beaten any of his generation on the night. That round one stunner that more or less lifted Lewis off his feet a more composed and measured follow through could have seen him take the W. He’s a great character and his zest for life is infectious.

He was throughly disrespected by the British who spent a decade hating him because he had fought for Canada in the Olympics and thus didn’t consider him one of their own.
