There's a nightmare sequence earlier that makes Ethan question how far he would go to succeed. It shows him killing an innocent person in order to complete the mission (the "Fallout" of saving the world). This scene is to show that he has not fallen that far. He is still a good person despite the bad things he has done.

What he SHOULD have been paying attention to is the fact that Ethan made a way out of an almost impossible situation by icing 4 fucking guys in a matter of seconds
@ZakEmber Жыл бұрын
@@The_Devil_Breaker_ Exactly! That combined with the fact that it takes way more skill and a much bigger bag of tricks to avoid killing people on a mission than it does to be a battering ram. I've never been wild about how the movies disgraced the character of Jim Phelps for Ethan Hunt, but one thing movies at least verbally lean in on was that the mission of the IMF (most of the time the world isn't in crisis during the films) is to make the bad guys put themselves in the traps: 'masks and Halloween'. They're not supposed to be the shoot-em-up problem solvers, and it actually takes LOADS of skills to do things that way, including knowing _exactly_ how to be lethal on every level in order to make sure that you can hold back. Ethan doesn't kill because it's usually better for the mission and because it lets him sleep better at night, not because he can't or because he's not great at it. He is.

Women loved to be surprised; actually we all do. This is what women are actually attracted to long term in a man. The looks of a man matter little to them since they have so many men to choose from. If you want to attract, have sex & keep a beautiful woman always continue to surprise her. Even the smallest thing will do. They want something unusual. Remember they get plenty of free flowers, drinks, diners, vacations etc. Just find something different to do for them - anything. This is why the beautiful policewomen instantly fell in love with Ethan. Women also don't know this about themselves. Ask them. Watch KZbin videos. They can't actually articulate what makes them "fall for" a man. I am telling you straight - do something different occasionally to surprise them. They will follow a man like this into a burning building to be with him.

Then we see over his right shoulder the four armed guys. But here's the thing... they clearly would have been in his field of view given their proximity to him. The street's empty, so an agent of Ethan's caliber would notice them and be suspicious of their approach. Basically, the off-camera shot was meant to surprise us, the audience.
