A simple yet beautiful film. I cant help but wonder why the dead boy chose that specific boy though. The uniform indicated that the both of them attended the same school, but i wonder if there was any sort of prior relationship. I also feel as if the balanced star scene held some significance, though I am probably stretching it.

From IMDb ''After a fatal bicycle accident, twelve-year-old Jacob moves through the world as a ghost. Unseen and unheard, he trails his classmate Daniel home from school. As the ghost boy watches, an image of a grief-stricken family slowly begins to take shape''.

Interesting film, why do I have the feeling I missed more in this film than I got?
@musingsofaraven8 жыл бұрын
we never see the face of the boy who dies. I would guess that it's actually the older man who died on the bike, and he visits his grandson ("the only one in the family he ever really liked") and daughter.

Boy dies and longs for the person he always loved (the other boy), meanwhile that boy longs for a dead person he always loved (his father). Living connecting with the dead and dead connecting with the living through the universal idea of love. Also the dead watch you shower.

i prefer Connor's work as an actor.i believe he's got talent and a natural acting technique.deep and has reguard for details as an actor.less as a director in my opinion and is less known to the public with directing work,also because he choses delicate and difficult to represent arguments.and the short films stile tend to become a bit boring,out of his exces on trying to capture the whole emotional process of these short films.hope he focuses on acting for more time before he dives too deep in directing.the wrong time to start directing might ruin his entire career
