At the end he says that they led him "into a conference room where Sami's parents were already waiting, looking distraught" & that is where police broke this tragic news to them that her body has been found. This must be common way to inform family about the death of a loved one, as it describes exactly my own experience of being informed with death of family member. As he concludes his testimony reclaiming his experience, I could see it, hear it, almost smell what it was like to be led in there with that plain ol industrial type of office walls, carpet, & furniture. Interesting how human beings process memory during trauma. God help these suffering families throughout this trial.

Such a sad, sad situation. I hope this guy doesn't blame himself. Who could ever know? And as a side note, the cop, or whatever he is, on the back, to our right side, of the defendant, needs to stop looking at his watch. He's totally reading emails, etc. Not appropriate.

That poor guy who loved his beautiful girlfriend.sitting there looking at the evil SOB that stabbed the love of his heart 120 times while hitting and beating her. You just know he would love to go right over that table and grab that coward woman killer by the throat. Feel so bad for him and her parents.

Defendant really has the shifty eye going back and forth between the boyfriend and jury. Defendant very nervous throughout the testimony.

I didnt see nervousness in the "defendant". Maybe I'm a bad person, though I saw nothing. Not a human, not even an animal, just a creature, a thing. An "it" sat there, vaguely resembling a bag of flesh and water. There is evil in this world...

This poor man will blame himself for the rest of his days. Meanwhile, if I'm correct, her "friends" left her alone. If this was my friend, I'd have stayed with her or dragged her home with me. smh. I implore young ladies to learn from this because there's more like him out there looking for you.

Truly feeling for the young man as he gives his testimony about his girlfriend. Heart breaking. I had a golden rule with my friends when we went out I was always the DD and we go there together we come back together. Ladies if you go out together make sure you come back together NO EXCEPTIONS! Not one more drink, No man, or any dramas or jealously should stop you from girl code. Watch over each other! I can't imagine what the roommates are going through. I'm glad their was justice for Samantha.

Criminals bank on people being alone and lonely. Do they not think about the people in the victim’s life? The people who love them. So sad. She was full of life and even in her last hours so brave. This is so sad

To commit something like this, you pretty much have to become a lifeless husk. Self preservation, empathy, restraint, all out the window. So they don't really think about anything except satisfying their bloodlust.
