Boy vs Man: 1. Lust / Love (chemistry doesn’t mean compatibility, you can have chemistry with a lot of people) 2. Emotional compatibility / spiritual or moral compatibility - you can like the same food, same color, same favorite holiday, but that doesn’t mean y’all are soulmates. (Aka emotional “coincidence”) - shared believe in the same god and/or shared believe in worldview, agrees with your fundamentals, how they want to raise their children, does he believe equality, is he racist, etc. (so you know there’s something stronger than just the surface commonalities) 3. Convenience / commitment 4. You never have to beg a man to want you!!!!!! 5. Money / wealth (a good mindset) - does he have the ability to save money? Does he have an investment mindset? A boy will want to look like he has money, a man will have the mindset of wealth and building a legacy. He has a plan and is actively working on that. - Man is a Self-willed & self-motivated person. A boy is constantly chasing for something new. A man has his priority in check, he’s doing what’s best for him and for his future family, not in a rush to make big money. 7. Has a dream / has a plan - Boys like to always be Flexing’ on the gram, like to be popular, showing off on Snap, chase clout. - husband is concerned about being a standup person in society, working to be the best version of himself. What he’s doing now is for his future.

Some men believe that just by saying they want marriage, they qualify as "husband material" without doing the work of maturing! They expect their future wife to replace their mother and think it's perfectly acceptable to go into a marriage out of lust and not love.

Your videos should be played in schools for young girls to understand what path they must follow in order to protect and respect themselves. @Hello It's K when you fear god it means fear disobeying him. When you disobey him you have chosen the wrong path, also seen as Satans path. Remember, Satan also disobeyed god. For example, let’s say you want to kill someone but you know it breaks one of the 10 commandments. You can chose not kill that person from fear of what punishment will come after. Let’s say you decide not to kill that man and are saved from gods wrath. I’m not saying obeying god is driven by fear, it can also be driven by love. Let’s say you killed that man. You disobeyed god and now have to face your punishment. He knows you chose to do wrong, and that you have done a terrible thing. Think of it like your own parents. When you were little , you were scared of let’s say hitting your father, because you know it wrong. You were also scared of cutting your mother’s clothes and rubbing lipstick on her mirror because the punishment that would come after would be BAD. As for the Satan part, god says not to fear Satan because he is greater than him. What you should fear is becoming LIKE Satan or FOLLOWING Satan. He is the definition of evil and when you LIKE or FOLLOW evil, you are in the worst place you can be.

@baybeetricia
@baybeetricia 3 жыл бұрын
@@gracee3194 The funny thing is every single point she touched on was spot on so I'll touch on 2 main ones. Sorry if this is a bit long but I think that it would be best if I explain 2 of them with a bit of detail. When I met my ex (almost 12 yrs ago) I was studying for my undergraduate degree. Since I've known him, he had always told me that he wanted to go back to school to finish his degree in Accounting. Because of that, I used to pushed him to go back (don’t ever do that) but there was only so much I could say because he had a job (before I met him), he was making money, and he was listening to his friends who told him that it made no sense to go back because he already had a job and he was making money. As a result of that, he pushed his dream of going back to finish his degree on the backburner to satisfy what others were telling him. Over the next few years, I would sporadically ask him why he didn't go back (I stopped pushing because I felt that I was more invested than he was so I simply started asking) and he would never give me an answer that came from his own thought. It was always due to something someone told him and never anything that he thought of himself (that was the downfall of our relationship at that time-listening to his friends and what they thought was best for him instead of doing what he knew was best for him). So, when I went off to medical school (we had just broken up) he started thinking that he finally wanted to go back but then the excuse changed from what others said to the fact that he felt he was "too old to go back". It was just excuse after excuse (dream vs plan). Eventually he went back (apparently, I motivated him after going back to Medical School despite his apprehensions for me to go to another country *different story for a different day*) but yeah. It was just too much thoughts from others as it pertained to his own dream and not enough of thoughts and plans for himself. Currently, I’m still in school (LOL. Would have been done this past summer but Rona just making things hard for me and my clinical sites) and my current partner now also wants to go back to school (it seems I do a lot of motivating). When he first brought it up to me (yes, he brought it up to me. I did not ask) he laid it all out in full detail from start to finish, how he was going to finance it, when he was planning on starting (this spring), what he was going to use it for, and how he is going to make his (and others) lives better with his degree (he's going into Administration for Emergency Services). He laid it out to me because he wanted to get my opinion on what I thought of his plan and how, as an outsider, that would be beneficial to the healthcare industry where we are. That led to a deeper conversation on where he saw himself in the next 5 years, 10 years, etc., but that plan, in which is he is currently putting into action, was eye-opening for me. We have those conversations (future conversations) a lot so it's nice to know that he is driven and is doing what he set his mind to do, without the opinions of others, to ensure a better future not only for himself but for those around him. The seconds speaks on commonality vs compatibility (I think that's how Breeny classified it). My ex and I had a lot of things in common: Our birthdays are 2 days apart, he is 2 years older than I am, our mother's birthdays are a few days apart, we had a lot of similar characteristics (but still enough to set us apart) and we had a lot of history (He was my first boyfriend and the person before my current partner). That's probably why I stuck around so long (history). Either way, the older I got, the more I realized that we couldn’t talk about anything of importance. Yes, we both eventually wanted to get married and have kids and what not but the older I got the more I realized that, outside of that, we couldn't hold a real conversation about anything. Don’t get me wrong, there were moments when it happened, yes, but others, it was like talking to a brick wall. I’m a sapiosexual (thanks to Breeny I now know what I am) so intelligent conversation and communication in general is important to me. So, if I feel that something is wrong, I want to talk about it. If I have an idea that I want to build on (company-wise, workwise, etc.), I’m the kind of person to talk to you about it to get your intellectual opinion on it. It won’t dictate what I do but it will let me know if they, as my partner, think it’s possible and if they could potentially see it working out. Provide tips, etc. Most times when I did that, he never tried to engage in the discussion. Sometimes, I felt that he wasn’t listening because it had nothing to do with him. So, he was just silent. I knew he was there…but he just wasn’t there (if that makes sense). On the flipside, my current partner now, is completely different. I've known him for almost 7 years, but I never really took the time to get to know him because I just saw him, at first, as an acquaintance (I knew him through a mutual friend) who gradually became a friend over the years. We never hung out or anything, but we did talk from time to time (to see how each other was doing) and when we did, things just flowed naturally. We could talk for hours about any and everything (joking around, etc.,), he could ask me for advice, I can do the same, and it just flowed. Never anything sexual. Just good conversation. After we eventually got together (when both of us were single and we had a conversation on the potential changes to our friendship as a result of the change) we started to open up to see if there was a possibility of us being more than friends. It was then that I realized we shared the same thoughts on religion, marriage, children (even down to the number of kids), family values, education (he’s also a director of a school), philanthropy (he is a youth mentor), importance of communication, space in a relationship (no need to be up under each other all the time), end goal for a relationship, etc. Yes, all of that and more. Now, we have differences (a lot of them lol) but they don’t matter cause they’re trivial so they’re not really important. To this date, nothing has changed in our relationship. Yes, I know more about him, yes, we are together but, conversation-wise, it’s the same (if not better). So far, I have bounced off ideas about potential business opportunities and side hustles and he has been nothing but motivating. He gives me tips, sends potential clients my way, any little thing that he might stumble across - be it an article, potential funding opportunity, or even a video that talks about something that I told him, he would sends it to me with a note to let me know that he thought I would appreciate this, or he thought of me while reading/watching/looking at it….and its things that like that lets me know that he not only listens but he wants me to follow my dreams and be the best person I can be; whether it includes him or not. A complete 180 from my ex.

@@baybeetricia wow! Thank you so much for that break-down. Also congratulations on your relationship👏 Just from what you said, the influence of opinion by other is an issue I'm my case also (I'm not even in a relationship), and those emotionally trivial coincidences like birthdays can be do detrimental without us knowing it, entirely. And yeah I've noticed I also need some degree of intellectual conversion to get a feel of who you are. Hey , I'm a muslim studying & planning to live in a christian country & let me tell you. I was living in a muslim country before & I found problems for setting high standards , not partying , not smoking, not drinking , BASICALLY not following what everyone is doing in today's society. It's hard to set standards for your religion, ideologies , way of thinking , dressing etc.. JUST DO YOU. It's never about a country that has a certain religion. I was born & raised in Morocco which is a muslim country but there are a lot of christians, jewish & even atheist people. I literally quit uni in Morocco because I was the only one wearing the hijab & they discriminated me. A true muslim , a true jewish , a true christian will love you & respect you no matter what. I guess with the right timing God will bring you the right one. Enjoy your life to the fullest, Find your inner peace & don't rush something. Sending you all my love. May Allah bless you.

I got broken up with earlier this year, and I just started attempting to date again but I’m trying to keep my guards up and really paying attention to what these men are saying. There’s one I really like already but I keep trying to keep it in perspective that he could just be saying what he thinks I want to hear. And with my ex, it was all lies. I have the hardest time deciphering lies because intelligent men are so good at lying.

Great points Breeny! Also, a man should propose between 12 and 18 months on dating. A man knows what he wants, quite quickly. After 18 months of dating and still thinking, you are not his wife. Ladies no more time to waste❗

I never heard of someone proposing within 18 months. The happiest marriages I know dated for at least 5-6 years before engagement, but maybe because marriage doesnt plays a huge role in my culture. 50% of the couple I know (that last for 30+years) are not married. My grandparents dated for 10 years before getting married, my parents 8 years just like most of their best friends

I would love a video on “How to: stop being shallow” I’ve done a lot of self reflecting over the last couple of years and I’ve gone through all the reasons why I’m still single after almost 4 years and I realized one of the bigger reasons is because I’m a bit shallow. I’ll meet a really nice guy and he’s treating me very well and wanting to get to know me but then his physical appearance isn’t what I like or what I’m used to and I’ll write him off. I understand prioritizing personality over looks but its like why can’t I have both? Please help!

I am literally left a boy relationship for a man relationship. One I had a child with, to a man who wanted to be a provider to me and my children. So different! It's very apparent. The connection was so slow and so deliberate but as much as my man tries he is already wanting to wed me, despite my protest lol. First sleep over today and I am up at 5am lol He is so kind and so caring I actually question so much about him. Keep wondering what is wrong with him because he wants to provide for me and my kids just for the sake of it. Taking my trauma ridden mind one step at a time since my last mind altering abusive relationship. And hes so obliging with my progress too. Difference between a boy and a man. So weird and so amazing all in the same tune. 🥰

@Tracy Gilbert blessings Tracy.... I already know my ex was cheating on me for 3.5 years. He told me everything the day he left. I hadn't a clue. I work a lot and over the years had jobs making me travel all over. He had lied to her about me and was engaged to both of us. She got pregnant but had an abortion because of her drug habit. He wanted me to lie for him to her so he could get a place with her. I couldn't live with myself if I did something so horrendous to another person so I told her everything. He then ended up divulging that he'd cheated on me with 5 different people in the span of our relationship. He was very abusive, and manipulative. He was diagnosed with a personality disorder soon after. I am much happier without him. I have no desire to want to know what goes on in his deceptive manipulative life. But thank you for your msg 💗

Wow. I stood beside a "boy" for two years after our breakup because I prayed that God would change him and help him appreciate me and everything I did for him. I wanted him to love me the way I loved him. I blocked him for the 394234th time a few weeks ago, in hopes to surrender this situation to God, whatever His plan is, will be.
