Boys just wanna have fun. Making Sticky Lumber.

Just a good day making lumber with a sawmill. Whenever Nate and I get together we have a good time. We cut some sappy, really sticky wood on the woodland mills HM130max. Making boards for a shiplap project nate has going at his sugarworks.

First stuff I ever got to mill was spruce. After it sat stacked I had about 10 ounces of spruce pitch. Made good fire starter.

Actually Nate has the largest maple syrup company in Ohio. They make Bourbon maple but no spruce syrup lol

Perhaps Nate should experiment with boiling the spruce sap, it's already pretty concentrated 🤣

George if you had to choose between the woodmizer or the woodland sawmill which one would you choose

Both are excellent mills for the price so it's just a question of what price can you justify. The only real limitation of either is width of cut and throat depth (clearance above blade). If the specs meet your needs you will be happy with either.
