Nothing today is comparable to 80s-90s R&B/Pop groups.

They hit the nail on the head. In my honest opinion, the music world and the world in general is not about togetherness anymore and more so about individuality.

Well, there *are* rap "crews" made up of folk with varying degrees of actual talent, smh; which are cool, I guess; ( *eyes rolling* ) until they publicly, and/ or violently beef with you (50 Cent, etc.), or worse, blow your brains out (YNW Melly).

I love how Boys to Men had pure, wholesome music. No vulgarity, about love versus just sex, not all the cursing. And of course amazing talent!!! Hard to find nowadays.

They'll come back around. Every decade had their boybands 60s - temptations, etc 70s - jackson 5, etc 80s - new edition, new kids on the block, etc 90s - boyztomen, jodeci and other black boybands, Backstreet Boys, Nsync and other white boybands 00's - still backstreet, nsync, then B2K and B5 10's - one direction, the wanted, 5secondsofsummer ,etc 20's - ........in process (I'm actually in music management, and in the process of putting two together) so I'm guessing 2023-2024 they'll hit again

They said in another interview the same thing Omarion said that now a days shit isnt earned anymore. Back in the day you had to hustle to go get it. They come from the analog era. Today you can get famous over night or from the internet with no real raw talent.

Boyz II Men, you cats are just simply the best ever!!! Harmonies are just a match from Heaven!!! 😎👉💯 I named one of my sons Wanya!!! If their mother would have let me, I would have named all 3 of them a member of the group!!!!😂😂 NO LIE!!!💯

"BOYZ II MEN, YOU GUYS have stood the TEST of TIME. " I can remember YOU all doing interviews about how the MUSIC 🎶 INDUSTRY had changed, when YOU GUYS were on HIATUS... but the main thing about YOU all, was that no one PANICKED." "YOU GUYS STAYED the COURSE." The thing about YOUR MUSIC, for me, will always be APPRECIATED." ARTISTS may come and go, but most PEOPLE, LOVE the fact that the LYRICAL CONTENT of YOUR SONGS, 🎵 👌 have a PROFOUND IMPACT ON their lives. "Sure, I listen to others... but, BOYZ II MEN, YOU GUYS are the BEST of all TIME!!!"

I've been writing music professionally for about 15 years now. My music mainly plays on Swedish radio but I've had some international success as well, that however is irrelevant. The biggest problem I've faced during all these years is the labels. They want something new, something fresh with young talents with good looks. They don't really care about the singing because that can be fixed during production and mixing. I'm all fine with trying to write hits, but the difference between now and thirty+ years ago (And I don't really have to go that far back) is that the songwriters and artist are stuck with what the label wants. The label don't give a rats ass about feeling or what makes people happy, they care about fast money and hopefully a hit that plays on the radio 24/7 for (hopefully) a year. If we take Boyz II Mens End of the road for example, you can hear that both the artists and the songwriters had fun recording that, because they had free reins.

Ayye congrats to your success. But yes I agree it was more about collaboration and making an investment in the artist. But now it's more more about money, politics, greed, and hype. I'm still optimistic that we can turn things around. That'll depend on the people.

Right. Rn labels want the easiest thing possible. A rapper who has a lot of following, has a low budget, and can get them money fast. Back in the day it use to be more of an investment and collaboration.

Wanya and Shawn placed Nathan in a lot of uncomfortable positions over the years. He's handled it all well though. You never see Nate out doing stupid or foolish things now Shawn and Wanya can be seen out doing things. While Nate be maintaining a low status out of the spot light. He's very wise he keeps all things concerning Nathan Morris very private. People can only make assumptions and come up with things out of air about this guy. He's wise to keep his life like this. He's old school, and that's the best way to be. More people should be that way. They would have less drama and issues.

Well first off, Boyz II Men ARE NOT a "Boyband". They are a MALE VOCAL GROUP!

@Razzle Tonight .... They were never a "Boy band"... Just like "The Temptations".. They were grown ass MEN when they started.
