BPS Customs sure.. yet the Aero 15 even the x9 has less fan noise when running games and better sound from speakers....I feel ill returning my aero 15 but that nose cam was a deal breaker

Hi there, currently shopping a laptop and looking at many videos. Here is few aspects that I think you should approach when talking about a product like this: Screen Brightness, Internal Layout, Battery life, Power adapter size. These count a lot when you have to choose between two devices. I normally do like your content but this one feel off the track for me.

The GPU is “settling” at around 74 C because intel set it to throttle at 75. Currently there are ways to bypass this limit, but I wouldn’t count on those sticking around. I fell like this is an important point which should be mentioned.

OlyPanda how to bypass? Plus I wonder if it’s dangerous. I also have an aero that at max fans it’s 68 degrees... my mag 15 is at max fans and it’s always 75 degrees yet it scores a little higher on benchmarks

I just spent a lot on an Alienware Area 51m and the whole process has been a pain. Waited 2 weeks for it to come in. They sent me someone else’s cheaper build. They acted like I stole it. They put a replacement one in for me. Then canceled it. Waited for the one I sent back to look at it. It went to their Fraud Department. Everything I said checked out and I have another replacement getting built. Premium product. Premium price. Not so great customer support so far. Ordered September 27. I might get the replacement late this week or the following week.

My only problem with 1080p is that once you use 1440p, 1080 legit doesn't look good enough.

use nvidia image sharpening, looks just as good as native 1440p with 1080p performance. But you'd need a 1440p display to bother using that trick.

My mental state is deteriorating Hell yeah. I received it in November and still solid not a single problem. I don’t usually play much due to college and work, but when I game I put 8 to 10 hours. I really love this laptop and I’m glad I made the decisión to get it. Games that I played without any issue: Warzone, GTA 5, Forza horizon 4, seas of thieve, Green Hell, Diablo 3, Apex and a couple of more. I have no regrets, but you know different people, different opinion. Best,

Mag-15. This laptop isn't even a year old and I've have had one too many problems with it. The optane memory went bad as soon as I received it, which wiped the harddrive, they just refunded me the $30, told me it wasn't worth it anyways, then sent me a usb to reinstall windows. The screen is plagued with light bleed and there's a white circle that can be seen through the screen. Now I can't even use the laptop due to a locked black screen and a continuous reboot/freeze. What the hell!

I'm very interested in turboprop. But does anyone know if the lack of g sync has made gaming on this laptop a screen tear mess? I plan to keep the laptop for a few years too. So I'm worried that the games that come out a few years down the road will make it a screen tear hell

Why there's such a big difference in price between Eluktronics and XMG? I've check on bestware.com and a similar spec as the MAG 15 in the video is nearly 500€ more expensive.

Laptop manufacturers use shitty webcams because it saves battery, performance and cost. Why spend the processing power compressing high resolution video, to use in a video call, when you can use a cheap camera and not compress it much.

Speaker volume: check if you have Sound Blaster Connect installed and tweak the settings. The speakers sound much better with proper drivers installed. Keyboard: mabe you need to get used to it? Most users reports high satisfaction rate after a couple of days. // Tom
