Raylo GameMaster Idk, I feel like that Goku babysitting Pan episode had to be building up to or suggesting something. Pan, as a baby, bested the Pilaf trio. That's something that Goku only barely did, after years of martial arts training with Gohan, years older than her. Some kind of natural progression of the strength of the Son family or something.

The Daizenshuu 7 and GT Perfect Files (released in 1996 and 1997 respectively) gave Bra's birth year as 780. The only reason people seem to think Bra is older is that she appears to be in GT.

MAGE1995 1996 it's actually pretty a close contest. Kid Goku (I think it was base, might have been ssj) in his base form beat general rildo who was many times stronger than kid buu.

Yuka's Lover that's true but I think if GT had a better scale of power to show how strong Goku was during it might be clearer, like how Goku on namek, pre super Saiyan was in the top five fighters in the universe at the time. Kid Goku as I mentioned previously, is many times stronger than kid buu, yet they had aliens that could challenge kid Goku? It doesn't make sense. The feats of power in GT don't show how powerful they really are. God Goku would win though, I'm just saying it wouldn't be a total curb stomp. Now that I think about it, it would be interesting to see how omega Shenron and ssj4 gogeta would compare to Super characters.

Now, anybody that’s been watching the show since it started has taken notice of this, especially since Best Wishes started with the declaration that Ash was still 10 years old. And, I’m gonna try to avoid spoilers here by keeping names out, but SOMEBODY uses the Kanto-Johto Magnet Train in the second to last episode of Best Wishes, and the last time we ever saw that Magnet Train, they said it would be a year since it would be finished. That was a LOOOOONNNGG time ago, so we can no longer make the argument that Ash is completely these Regional Championships in a few months, AT LEAST ONE YEAR HAS PASSED. And this is not the first time that the passage of time has been addressed in the show, and yet, Ash remains 10. this is a direct quote from a source on wordpress.com. and its true. the anime writers are 100% full of shit when they said ash was 10. there is a shit load of proof in the series that he is between 14 and 16 in X/Y, and most people say to completely ignore the shit storm that was B/W

I agree, at least with pan, but I would rather if bra was introduced that she not be a z fighter, simply because not every saiyan blooded character needs to be an elite warrior. It would open a path for humor with her as just a lesser side character with a few bits of her making a mess of situations with a stubborn bulma attitude mixed with saiyan strength, like some boy with cooties getting bitch slapped through the side of a building, or random nonsense like that. Like everyone bitches about powerful characters getting left behind *cough* gohan *cough*... but I like that sort of thing, it give the characters depth, and if something happen in which gohan suddenly needs to get back into fighting mode it would give him a less OP level, like goku or vegeta, and make it more of a down to earth type struggle and when he goes insane and starts kicking ass it will feel more meaningful and justified... But besides gohan, theres also another bad ass character that no one ever seems to question... android 18. You know, the one that obliterated the earth and turned future trunk's timeline into the hell scape it is today. But her taking on a 'weak' role is nice, as it give the character an interesting development, she was a murderous android built for destruction who is now a soccer mom, its a goofy and outlandish concept, and yet still a reasonable situation given the circumstances. So far every single saiyan baby has been a fighter, gohan made sense simply because he was basically thrown into the life style and forced to exist like that, and through out DBZ he always made it clear that he never really wanted to fight, but instead he just had to survive, and later defend the ones he loved, and now we see him in a world where there hasn't been any reason to fight recently. Trunks and goten on the other hand are just... well... boring. We don't really get any character from them and never really have, in DBZ they were just sort of hyper kids who thought of fighting as fun, which is reasonable but not really very developed as far as characters, and they never really changed from that. in Super they are even more generic, I actually thought super would end up focusing on them more as main characters much like DB focused on goku, then DBZ focused on gohan, I figured DBS we would see the start of a 'gotenks' generation, but so far they've just been the same background noise kids they've always been. hell, even videl had her own little character arc with gohan. They already started showing pans potential power and how she like to explore, which seems like a GT nod, and I really hope they get to a point in time were pan is a little bad ass tomboy... but bra?... even in GT she was a snobby girly girl, and honestly, it works fine like that, it feeds off bulmas sas and vegetas arrogance, and I think she works better as someone who thinks fighting and training is childish and a waste of time she could be spending at the mall.

Sammy Matyas I felt Trunks was better in Super than DBZ. He had an arc with his future self and it changed him. He was trying to impress Mai, told his future self to man up and even had that moment where his future self said that trunks lived in a beautiful world. Goten just exist. I mean with Goten we get glimpses here and there that he wants to fight, which is honestly Chi Chi's fault for teaching him in the first place. Goten has an adorable innocence and him and Trunks are best friends. Goten can later go the route of Gt once those hormones hit. They really need to stop fusing them and have them fight on their own. Back to Bulla though I see your point, but instead of having her shop she should at least surpass her Mother in invention. Bulla/Bra would fight out of neccesity like if she doesnt get her way she strong arms her father. I want her in the show to see if they could top, "My Bulma". Vegeta going crazy over his family is the highlight of DBS.

I was refering to kid trunks, adult trunks definitely has his fleshed out character, but kid trunks theres nothing really there as far as personality and I hope super gives trunks and goten some more spotlight so we can see them become something more then they currently are. I wouldn't mind bra being sciencey and I think that would make a lot of sense, and yea it would definitely be a good plot device for vegeta to worry about his little princess of all sayains, but I'd still like it if she was just the same girly girl she has so far been portrayed as, because it's it's just a good dichotomy to the rest of the fighters and lends itself to some goofy comedy.

Sammy Matyas kid trunks had a mini arc in super. Hes growing up and is now into Mai and hes trying to impress her and it goes nowhere. Also those two moments he had with his adult self were just precious. Being around his adult self has at least changed him. +PlagueOfGripes I...I wonder if Akira Toriyama even really remembers Saiyan Roots... Super Saiyan God's ritual was the first big dismantling of Saiyan heritage. And then what happened to Bardock with DB Minus. The guy went from a true prideful Saiyan warrior to being a humanised parent looking out for his son. Where as the TV Special made Bardock to not give a damn about his son with a weak power level, and only cared about him when he kept seeing him in his visions, and saw he would face Frieza. Gine...is a whole other story. She's just an oddity, like Tarble. Nothing wrong with her, I guess, she's just...different. I excuse it because she's only like that because she can't fight. The only female Saiyan warrior anyone has truly seen, that has a name to them, is Fasha/Selipa.

i'm not sure, 18 started out as a Human, its the cybernetic enhancements made by Gero that made her powerful. So when Marron was concieved she didn't got any of the cybernetic enhancements. since that isn't DNA. Krillin retired from martial arts at this point. at best 18 would teach Marron to be tough and not to take crap from anyone. but thats my perspective on it

Alisa Kroes That doesn't necessarily mean she can't become a strong fighter. Krillin achieved incredible power for just being a human, so it stands to reason Marron could have just as high a potential, if not higher. That and 18's "Don't give a shit unless it affects you or your family, or your families wealth" attitude could make Marron a real threat to... the main villains minions. She won't be able to keep up with Bulla or Pan in fighting capability simply because she's a full human, but she could definitely serve as a good minion killer/Side fighter.

yeah i didn't mind it either but they kept trying to stuff a lot of things to finish off zamasu. first off you had the father son galick gun = cool then goku had to get the last shot in = uncool (its the same dumb move from resurrection F) then we get vegito which was nice but could have been longer. then you have trunks spirit sword which was nice to see trunks finish him off which = great but then they have zamasu turn into a wallpaper which is lame then you have zeno sama just blow everything up which is also lame. it could have ended much more solid. sadly.

Not only it has a time limit but even before it was shown that simple wish can unfuse them. I think that they ruined Vegito because now it's so easy. Just fuse, beat an enemy and you can be sure that you will unfuse anyway. Nothing to worry about. Before it was better because you couldn't know if they ever unfuse. I think it was more interesting. Fusing into Vegito was really a last resort then like kaioken which was dangerous to use.

Honestly I think putting the time limit on it will have the exact opposite effect. The time limit on fused Super Saiyan Blue is so limited that it's essentially a useless waste of effort. It doesn't matter how powerful of a boost they gain from it. They simply aren't going to be able to beat God level opponents in the time that it gives them. Fusion has now basically become the New Super Saiyan 3. It's incredibly powerful, but has such a huge weakness that there isn't any reason to use it.

There already exists a fusion with a time limit...that's established in the lore. Retcon was 100% unnecessary. Vegito was cool partly because he was a last resort-that fusion was more powerful than finger fusion, but it had the huge drawback of being permanent. That was interesting....but now....potara fusion = fusion dance and hence redundant. Like the retcon was stupid...legitimately stupid. 'We're going to change something to be the exact same as another thing instead of using the other thing'.....what's the point and purpose of that?

Bra was never supposed to be a 'minor' character. So i think in super we will see Bra. If I remember correctly, Toriyama's intention for Bra was the deal breaker with GT. Writers didn't like the idea of her becoming a major character. If Toriyama wanted to take a stab at GT, it would be bringing Bra to the forefront as he intended.

I don't know whey everyone is forgetting that Bulma and vegeta stated to goku that they hadn't seen each other in 5 years at the end of DBZ. That means the 10 year window everyone is talking about should canonically be a 5 year window... which means there is just about no time what so ever for a time skip. You know if toei actually knows what they're doing (which I'm not so sure about)

+Justin Beckford Yeah End of Z is pretty much already retconned. Goku shouldn't have interacted with any of his friends as soon as Pan was born pretty much. They can just do whatever the hell they want now. So Bra is potentially retconned out of existence. That or they make her even younger. It might be another case of 'Toriyama forgot'. I honestly don't understand everyones boner for the DBZ ending... in reality it was a clear "where are they now" to wrap up the series, I could practically here "Dont you forget about me by Simple Minds" playing in the back ground during it. include uub, include bra, sure, but for fucks sakes, that ending was clearly the expectation of the series as a whole being finished without thinking super would exist and it entirely deserves to be retconned and forgotten.

One of the big things about Bra, from what I hear, is "Oh my God, how can she look like that? She's younger than Pan yet looks older?" Well, Saiyan blood's the answer. As with all the other male Saiyan/half-Saiyan characters, Bra only has one massive growth spurt, which in her case would be sooner than Gohan, Goten and her brother Trunks because that's how girls work. "So what, Pan has Saiyan blood too, how come she still doesn't look 16 even though she's 11?" Simple: Bra is 1/2 Saiyan, and Pan is 1/4 Saiyan. Of course, the Saiyan traits are gonna be more diluted in Pan, because she has more human blood in her genetic makeup.

I find it very hard to imagine a non-combatant Half-Saiyan... Gohan was 4 when he almost knocked out Raditz (who was the strongest character by then), Pan can fly as a baby... come to think of it, it seems Half-Saiyans are even more OP than pure blood Saiyans. Gohan was the strongest Z Fighter in the Buu saga after all, and he could have been the strongest in the universe (other than gods and fusions) if he was as dedicated to training as Goku and Vegeta.

I would like to see Bra appear and I agree that her making her Daddy Vegeta more human was a nice touch from GT. I don't see the correlation between them not being full Saiyan & Bra & Pan having a friendly rivalry In fact, I don't see, the correlation of Bra & Pan being friendly rivals with more personality than Gotten with Gohan writing a book on Ki to create the Time Patrol I will assume I worded poorly my point so I will try to re-word it for future replies: If Bra & Pan grow up to be actual characters in DBSuper, I would like them to have some sort of friendly rivalry instead (not even in fighting) so that way they could develop their personalities & act like characters unlike trunk's Power Up that fans call Gotten. I really want to see Bra appear again and, honestly, I'd love to see her become another Gohan, someone that can and will fight when needed but is more interested in other things. Like, keep her girly to contrast with Pan most likely becoming a tomboy like in GT and like her mother Videl was, but still be a strong fighter in her own right (and have both of them turn Super Saiyan). I honestly think it'd be interesting to have a girly fighter that isn't evil. I know 18 is kinda girly, but she's a bit more between girly and tomboy.

I admit, I wouldn't want a character to exist purely to develop another character. Bra (though I never watched GT, gasp!1) always seemed like an interesting character on her own, but to boil her existence down to just being Vegeta's little girl who yanks him around and forces him to "character build" is a bit insulting for any character in any story. Sure, they can help but if the character can't stand on their own without another specific character, you don't have a well put together character. Different things can come out buuuut yeah. I'm hoping if they do it, it won't be just to fill out/help explain/humanize only Vegeta.

Personally, I stand by the idea that GT should be turned into a different timeline and super given full freedom to do whatever it wants. GT should still be canon, just a different timeline. Either way, Pan and Bulla/Bra are canon and are here now. They are both very young but it looks like super super hero might make them more prominent, especially Pan since she seems to be taking center stage.

Honestly, I enjoy GT lore stuff but I really do hope they don't care about undoing stuff or messing it up. If they have to stick to such a strict canon then they are really limiting what they can do with the show. I would rather see GT rebooted via super with similar things going on then have to have everything fit so neatly. I don't see GT being canon at all. There's too many inconsistencies. If they do anything I see it being another timeline but not the same as GT. With SSB, it doesn't make any sense as to why Goku nor Vegeta ever turned into it, Kaioshin is still fused with Kibito, there's no mention of Whis or Beerus, the power scaling and all the inconsistencies make it feel impossible the two could co-exist coherently. Toei will never get rid of GT cause it makes money but I don't think GT fits at all anymore.

It's a seperate universe. It's twin is probably the movieverse, both featuring radically different events and for GT at the least Saiyan Physics, and yet a lot of similarities and a lot of the same heroes. Tapion could probably be a common thread between that pair and possibly the TV one even since it's the only existing sword origin so far and a sword as sharp as a Kienzan is absolutely incredible. That thing sliced through Freeza like butter. He treated Freeza like a cook making chicken nuggets and then overfried him. No matter how strong he is, a sword not extremely sharp wouldn't work that perfectly for the task. That thing isn't normal.

Pretty sure Xenoverse confirmed that GT and Super have different timelines. Plus with how Super is, there really is no way GT can happen. And really, who cares about that? Fans of GT have their finished anime and can enjoy that with no consequence. The same goes for those that wanted something different as we now have Super continuing from the movies; granted I hate Zamasu but I do like the Tournament arc. At least the GT fans got an ending before someone decided to mess with the series, like the DmC reboot just coming when stuff in the old Devil May Cry aint even finished.
