The US lost to Japan--3-0--because the Japanese would let the ball hit the court. You had two of the best players that night for the US--Dana Rettke and Annie Drews--even they had issues against Japan. :-))) Turkey also didn't play as well as they could have tonight. I thought both teams looked good at times and off at other times. Congrats on the win. Enjoy it. Brazil did work hard--that is for sure!

Ben artık bu durumdan gerçekten sıkıldım ya, bir kere değil iki kere değil aynı durum hep yaşanıyor. İlk sette cansunun paslarına rağmen gayet güzel oynadık. Smaçör ve blok katkısı aldık, arka alanı savunup çok iyi defans yaptık ama yine olduğu gibi diğer setlerde tamamen saldık kendimizi. 2. sette bile öndeyken kaybettik. Zaten kalan 3 set birbirinin kopyası resmen, servis hatalarıyla verdik setleri. Takım güzel başlayıp rehavete kapılıp asla devamı olmayan bir takım. Çok çabuk pes ediyoruz maalesef. Bu şekilde altın madalya, kupa hayalleri fazlasıyla zor. Kendi kulvarımızdaki takımlara karşı üstünlük üretemiyoruz. Bu böyle gitmez.

i'm Brazilian but i hope Turkiye gets its olympic medal because of the massive investment in volleyball over the last years (Brazil is the total opposite situation, we are slowly killing the sport here). Its really good to see all matches open for the world in TRT sports this young turkish generation is really good and deserve to have a place in the podium, specially because soon Eda will be retiring. Que jogo maravilhoso, vamos aos fatos Julia entrou e mudou o jogo, uma pena que não vai pro Mundial Ana Cristina tentam fazer ela acontecer, mas ela ainda não mostrou nada, ou ela muda de time e vai para algum que seja titular e talvez evolua e melhore, ou irá mofá no banco, mas tera seus euros na conta. Diana jogou muito, os saques dela foram fundamentais para as viradas, principalmente no segundo set Gabi começou mal, mas depois ela voltou pro jogo, joga muito Carol lendaria como sempre O craque do jogo foi o Zé Roberto, mexeu muito bem no time, e fazia as substituições nas horas certas, como é bom ter tecnico(masculino sonha)

Where was Simge Akoz? Why did Meryem Boz only play a few seconds? In terms of coaching, I think Giovanni had a bit of a breakdown like what happened with Serbia in the CEV 2021 semifinals. Both teams look good at times and off at other times. Although it was a 3-1 match, the set scores were close. Turkey must learn to play each play until it's over. Food for thought, coach!

The pressure Worldwide for Brazil to win, is always on top, since Men's (3 times Olympic Champions), and Women's (2 times Olympic Champions) have a beautiful history of winning the last decade. But now, in 2022, the team is trying new players on national team, so we brazilians Do expect them to struggle and lose some crucial matches on VNL, but we always believe there's a chance of winning because of the individual talents (like Gabi, Lucarelli, Leal...) that we expect them to give Confidence to the new players to Keepthis Winning Spirit alive! It's not something easy sine nowadays, there's too much more Balance among the teams worldwide. Many are expected to win a world Championship for example this year in both genres. So. It's better not shock if they eventually fail because they're in process of finding the right pieces to keep the high quality of Brazil's offensive play

It's a new Olympic cycle & alot of teams like you said are trying to find the right pieces to the puzzle. It's like the 2017 Brazilian team that proved everyone wrong, as no one expected them to go as for as to win the world grand prix. In order to win, one must lose...that's just the way life works. I am excited to see how all these teams do.

Lucarelli and Leal are sorely missed by Brazil. But, I have to be honest, Renan is a terrible coach. Brazil was having the best team in 2021 with the command of assistant Schwanke, but after Renan recovered from Covid, and regained the team for the Olympics, the frenetic pace that the team was having was lost. Renan managed the feat of losing a 20-12 set over Russia. Lost to median Argentina. He's just bad, there's no other explanation. The men's Brazil has more individual pieces than the women's, however Zé Roberto is one of the best technicians in the world, while Renan is totally inexperienced.

The Turkish team needs a new coaching staff. I like Giovanni, but I see the same mistakes season after season. In addition, the team has no depth unlike the 2018-2019 teams. Then, you had both Naz and Ozbay. Ozbay's setting is slow and she telegraphs her sets too much. Their libero tonight would have trouble playing in the US collegiate league. Her placement and stance were off more times than not.

Gui bizim aşkımız bu takimi bu kadar başarılı yapan kişi kendisidir. Bizim daha önceleri de o yokken de çok güçlü oyuncularımız ve takımlarımız oldu ama bu takımın bu kadar yükselmesini sağlayan kişi odur. 1 maç kaybetti diye kimse onu kötü antrönör konumuna getiremez 4 maç kazandı nasılsa. Sahaya hiç çıkmamış soğuk oyuncuyu oyunun 4. setinde içeri alamazdı tabii ki Ayçaya hiç turnuvada süre vermeden sürekli Simgeyi de oynatamazdı. Hem eski oyuncuları dinlendirin yenilerinin tecrübe kazanmasını sağlıyor o. Böyle maçlarda as kadromuz zaten rahat maçlar çıkartabilir önemli olan diğer jenerasyona tecrübe kazandırabilmek. Ayca çok hata yaptı ama eminim ki çok da ders aldı bu maçtan. 1 oyuncuyu kaybetmek 1 maçı kaybetmekten çok daha önemli bir sorundur. Biz hatalarını Ayçaya göstererek ileride çok iyi bir Ayça kazanabilmek için onu oynattik. Gui de böyle düşünüyor ve onun iyi bir antrönör olduğunu unutmayın sizin sadece izleyerek yapabildiğiniz yorumları zaten o da yapabiliyor. Sadece biraz daha derin düşünüyor ve böyle şansları o oyunculara vermek zorunda. Ne olursa olsun Guiyi çok seviyoruz ve Kızlarımızla gurur duyuyoruz🥺🇹🇷❤❤

@ruyno w gerçekten ligde çok iyi liberolar var ama Ayça onların yanında kötü kalmiyor zaten öne çıkan bir isim olsa gerek tecrübe gerek psikolojik rahatlıkta oyuncular olsa alınırlar. Aylin gerçekten iyi bir oyuncu ama o da her maç iyi değil. Zaten her maç iyi olan hicbir oyuncu yoktur orası ayrı bir konu ama ne olursa olsun Ayca ya da Simge kadar büyük takımlar karşısında rahat olmaz ( ki düşün bizimkilerin bu rahat halleri o nasıl olur kim bilir). Bizim izleyici kitlemizin sorunu ise şu: Guiyi eleştirdikleri tek bir kişide takılö kalma sorunu. Asıl adam oyuncu degisiklikleri yapınca maçta deliriyor herkes. Elimize Simge var diye neden hep o oynasi istiyorlar hep onda takili kaliyorlar. Hep o oynasa hadi yorgunluk falan bi kenara koyalım o gidince yerine tecrübesiz berbat performans sergileyen biri mı gelsin?? Gerçekten bazen bilgisiz bir şekilde dümdüz zekalarıyla yorum yapan insanlar görünce çok sinirleniyorum. Ha bu arada tepkim sana değil çok güzel bir yorum yazmışsın sen ❤❤❤❤

Önyargılarinizla beraber sadece kötü günlerde gelip hiç haddinize değilken bu takıma laf ediyorsanız biraz araştırıp öğrenip atin. Her röportajlarında guinin emeklerinden bahsediyor o oyuncular. 2000lerin başından beri Eda Erdem bu takımın bir parçasıydı kac kere duymuştunuz hayatınızda? Gui olimpiyatlara getirip harika ogrenciler yetiştirip olimpiyatlarda da iyi bir sonuç elde edince tanıdınız. Yani uzun lafın kısası gui bu takıma hiçbir şey kazandırmayan koç değil aksine bu takimi bu takım yapan koçtur.

For those who don't know, about 60% of this Brazilian team is made up of newcomers who were not present at the Tokyo Olympics. Kisy, Diana, Nyeme, the two 'Julias', and most of the bank. And they are not only new to the team, but also in age.

Brazil is a sports country and a titan in volleyball culture so whoever plays, they display superior reception and block. Even their young team shows excellent teamplay. Turkey only made a move in the last 10 years or so and aims to be en ecole like Brazil in the following 20-30 years. That's the main difference between the two countries. We have much to learn from them
