I don't know how you managed to make this entire video so ridiculously entertaining. Who knew Dylan is an Oscar worthy performer.

Haha thanks man! It was a fun one to make and Dylan could totally win an Oscar 😂

You did. But it was a comment requesting another change so I deleted it 😂😅 Haha, but no, thank you for helping me out with this one man! It was so much fun 😄🙏🏼

This was absolutely brilliant, Brad! While it is informative, it is also so freaking entertaining. Your collab with Dylan turned out so good, that I think is was one of the best tutorials ever.

In the old days of the proper timelines of FCP, before the magnetic monster, I used to make my cuts and then close the gaps after all of the noted edits were completed. In the Magnetic days, I've learned to work backwards from clients notes, starting at the last note and backtracking to the beginning. Other than a few random non-sequential notes, this works.
@Brad_West4 ай бұрын
Yeah I used to do that before using Frame too. It works great until you have to swap sections around. Then it can get messy. Thanks for watching 😄🙏🏼

Love this, great video as always Brad. Really helpful! Would love it if you could do a video on your overall workflow/process for editing Instagram client work. E.g. what order you do things in to be efficient. Like the timeline, colour grade, graphics, sfx, titles, captions etc.

Great suggestion! I'll add it to my list! 😄🙏🏼

personally i start editing changes backwards (so magnetic timeline doesn't affect that) but this is a cool way too

Or just work in reverse?

You could but if the changes involve swapping sections of the edit around, then it can get messy and confusing.

I can imagine my clients still making notes in an email instead.
@Brad_West4 ай бұрын
Haha I can see clients doing that 😂 The nice thing is clients don’t need to create an account on Frame in order to leave comments.
