Hey guys, I'm back with another video!! So, in todays video I decided to do something fun. Simply put, usually on the channel we tend to watch the tense, stressful and even sad. So after the finale of Stranger Things all I wanted to do was watch a really happy movie so I decided to begin with Tangled!! eugene is actually 23 in the film! they explain it in the series: in season two, they say he was born 25 years ago; each season lasts for about a year (in season 3 he celebrates his 26th birthday), which means in season 1 he’s 24, and they also state the series starts a year after her return to Corona (the kingdom). so, according to calculations, flynn rider/eugene fitzherbert is in fact around 23 in the movie :)

16:52 Flynn isn't saying "Gothel" but "Garçon" which is the French word for "boy". It was a term commonly used to adress a waiter back then, in France and apparently in English speaking countries too. That's why he asks for their finest table right after 😊 Love from France x

Whenever Mother Gothel shows Rapunzel any kind of affection, she's actually showing it to her hair. In contrast, when Eugene does the same, he pushes her hair away from her face.

Yas!! I love this so much!!! Flynn Rider was so designed just to attract girls and gays and he so does. Ooh that smoulder!! Tangled is such a good film and glad it's getting love in the parks. I love the music and the story at heart!! Mandy Moore, Zachary Levi and Donna Murphy are able to portray the leads in such a good way!!

You asked what Eugene meant by "if you do this then you will die." Let me explain. Near the beginning of the movie when Rapunzel is making the deal with "Flynn" to take her to see the lights, she tells him "And when I make a promise, I never ever break it." This establishes the sacredness of promises as far as Rapunzel is concerned. So fast forward to Eugene dying of the knife wound from Gothel, Eugene now knows that Rapunzel promised to go with Gothel forever if she lets her heal him. If he lets her heal him, her fate is sealed. Even if Eugene could somehow rescue her later, Rapunzel would have to violate her sacred promise to Gothel. Or else Rapunzel would say with Gothel forever. Either way, it is, in a sense, death for Rapunzel. So Eugene had to sacrifice his life to save her from that awful promise. He had no choice. He had to cut her hair to prevent her from having to face that promise she made.

Great reaction! This is one of my favorite movies! Interesting thing: whenever Gothel says “I love you,” she only ever touches Rapunzel’s hair. On the other hand, Flynn gently touches Rapunzel’s face whenever he shows her affection and only touches her hair when he is trying to help hold it up or push it out of her eyes.

Tangled super fan and Eugene enthusiast here to answer questions and clarify doubts: 14:04 Darling if you want to know the whole story there are some sequels all on Disney+ (in the story's chronological odrer): a film called "Tangled: Before Ever After", a 3 seasons series called "Rapunzel's Tangled Adventure" and a short film called "Tangled ever after". But yeah, it's a little long hahah💜 20:38 Eugene’s age was actually changed in the Rapunzel's Tangled Adventure series. In Season 3 - around three years after the movie - we see Eugene's 26th birthday, making him around 23 years old during the movie and giving them a 5 year age gap✨ 21:26 Btw Eugene it’s actually a beautiful name (any name is better than Ryder) Also me and Brad thirsting for him at the EXACT SAME TIME I- 28:40 NOT PASCAL 29:16 Wtf everyone please, he’s fking dying and trying to do something give him some slack✨

rapunzel is one of my favorite disney princesses. She's so beautiful. Her eyes are green, clear and that hair oh my gosh. Not only is she beautiful on the outside, but also on the inside. My heart melts with everything she does. .I appreciate her because she is one of the first princesses to be portrayed as independent and strong. She does a lot by herself and is really a hero in the story. She doesn't need a prince kissing her to get rid of a curse.

Gothel was teasing Rapunzel about her birthday, Rapunzel "dying" was a metaphor because if she stayed with Gothel, she would never be free and die a little inside, and Flynn HAD to cut her hair that short BECAUSE he had to cut at the roots so she wouldn't have any power. Also, Gothel was old; of course she'd turn to dust. And I don't remember her eyebrows glowing. 😂 Also, Flynn brought their daughter back, and Rapunzel likes Eugene because he's being himself. 😂

I love that you said something about the flower in the beginning. My one issue with the entire movie was the queen using the entire flower!! You need to watch studio ghibli films! They’re beautiful and most of them are very cute. Castle in the sky, my neighbour totoro, howls moving castle, and spirited away, these are all more light hearted in a sense. If you have time princess mononoke as well :)

I noticed that people are confused when Flynn says then you will die. It's not literal, but her spirit will die. Who she is, she will become numb because know she knows the truth. It will eat away at her. Reminds me of Rose in Titanic, when Jack says that one that fire will burn out (or something like that). I know this because it happend to me in my relationship, so it hits me everytime someone says something like this. Sorry went a little deep there🤣🙈😅😄

I love this movie and I have a great memory of seeing it at home with my little brother and father. At first he wasn't watching it with us, just sitting on the couch. The king and queen are the worst people in the movie, Gothel used the flower and put a basket over it so technically it was still available to everyone but then the flower gets turned into soup as a one time cure because obviously the queen is SO MUCH MORE important than everyone else.

Eugene/Flynn is actually like 23 or 24. theres a short movie and a show that take place after this. the movie is 6 months later and the 1st episode is one week after that. Each season is about 1 year I'm guessing since Rapunzel turned 19 in the end of the 1st season so by the end of three she's around 20 and he has an episode where he turned 26 in that season

A few weeks ago I went to Disneyworld and Flynn is one of my favorite Disney characters, and I was waving excitedly during the huge parade and he saw and waved back.
