I have a friend the used to call Amy Winehouse. Yes, for the exact same reasons, except she couldn't sing. But she was / is so much like her. The great news is I just saw her on FB AND she messaged me showing she's doing amazingly well. I'm so happy for her. Her body, her speaking voice, her mannerisms, her hair, so much like Amy. My girlfriend & I saw attended her show during SXSW, a year before she hit it big. There were only about 250 people in the (two level,) building. I could have reached out and touched her at any time during her performance with the Dap Kings backing her up. My Girlfriend actually met her and talked to her in the bathroom at length before the show. One of my best Austin, TX music experiences. I've had so many - but this one is a standout.

Great reaction. I was wondering the same thing. She was having a lot a problems when she died, compounded by the relentless paparazzi. Some of think, if should could have just gotten the help she need, if some one had just stepped in, she might have gone quiet for awhile and then had a chance to make an amazing comeback. Check out the doc film "Amy," if you want to know how hard it was for her being in the spotlight and constantly hounded by the press. It would have driven any normal person crazy.
