They called her "One Take, Karen." She never rehearsed on the way to studio. Just nailed it the first time. And the drums too at the same time. She became the lead singer only reluctantly. One of my favourite things about this channel has been witnessing the change in Brad over time. 18 months ago he would have been blank faced and just not getting or feeling this tune and now his face lights up listening to these new genres and artists that he would never have listened to years ago. They say that music is a language that your brain learns and matures to and if you listen to enough, *everybody* will end up understanding and loving jazz. I'm 56 and not quite there yet, I guess I need to listen to more music 😛
