Breaking Benjamin we're a major part of my young adult life and there music was always relatable at the time. Some of their greatest hits is Sooner or Later, Diary of Jane and Blow me away. They have been rocking for years and I always put them next to bands like Crossfade and Staind. They are still current and sound great as ever 🎸🎶🎶🎶🎶🎶

Breaking Benjamin is my most listened to band, something about their music and bens voice just soothes my soul so if I’m angry, stressed or just need to chill, I listen to them. Now tool started almost 20 years before them so they were more like influenced by tool. This is what I would call just straight up hard rock. I love almost every song they have but my 2 favs are “home” (off 1st album saturate) and “failure” ( off of dark before dawn) also they have song called “far away” that he duets with the singer from cold named scooter ward off his acoustic album aurura. So many great ones though! If I made a list, I’d list just about every song they have.

Man I downloaded “Medicate” on I think Limewire or what of those now defunct early 2k p2p sites. It was an unreleased unpolished version likely recorded by the band at a self funded studio before it was produced for radio. I have it on a burned cd somewhere in my basement to this day and now I want to find it. It was a great unheard edit. That was the joy and ability of those peer 2 peer music sharing sites back in the day. I discovered so much good music that way. But that song even in its radio edit is basically what launched this band. That and “Polyamorous” were their first 2 hits back in 02. That whole album was great and they just got better and better. Great band to dive into.

Read the whole thing* You can't go wrong with Breaking Benjamin they don't have a bad song but if you want to go down the Breaking Benjamin rabbit hole reaction to; Give me a Sign, Breakdown, Next to Nothing, Breaking the Silence, and Evil Angel, Sugarcoat, Topless, You, and Torn in two after you listen to all these songs you will get a good representation of the Band Breaking Benjamin. Don't do the generic thing and listen to their most popular songs only like I will not Bow, The Diary of Jane, Dance with the Devil, Breath, Dear Agony etc. Despite what people say Breaking benjamin mainly has three types of sounds, a somewhat pop punk sound which influenced alot of their earlier songs such as Lady Bug, Skin, Medicate, or Away. A more melodic sound which influenced songs such as You, What Lies Beneath, Give me a Sign, Dark of You, No Games, Faliure, Forget it, etc. And a more hard rock louder sound which influenced songs such as, The Diary of Jane, Breaking the Silence, Torniquet, So Cold, Feed The Wolf, Red Cold River, etc. And Breaking Benjamin even has some songs that I would consider Nu metal and sound somewhat similar to bands like Korn or Linkin Park such as Sugercoat, Bury me Alive, or Wish I may. So nonetheless Breaking Benjamin is and will always be my favorite rock band hope you guys enjoy their music as much as I do 🙂😁😀
