Am I the only one that researches a ton! Before doing anything to their hair. I become an expert on it before even attempting a cut or color or even hairstyle lol. I wouldn’t even dream of going into it not knowing what I’m doing.

Most of the people Brad have reacted to always go like "I'm not gonna read the instructions" when coloring or bleaching their hair and then get upset when it turns out badly, like what do you expect lol, probably some of them do it for views. WHEW you should’ve seen me ✋😭 i cut my own bangs almost a month ago without watching a tutorial- i was shaking bc i was nervous and i had just drank an espresso. i intended to do curtain bangs but ended up making them vv short and they were too long to be styled like “normal” bangs but too short to be curtain bangs. so long story short i got them textured and thinned out but now they’re long and thick again and i hate them 😃👍

Lol my ohhh was totally in sync with Brad when she went for the "bevel" haha but I really wanna scream "Not past your knuckle!!! My own knuckles are scarred right down to the area between my fingers from ignoring the best rule you should follow after years of being a stylist in a salon that funneled the long hair to me. I do love long hair but you can't realistically fit in as many clients in a day if they're all down past the shoulders. But I usually agree with Brad when he says what won't work along with why and am equally surprised when against all odds they turn out well. Brad I was confused right along with you trying to follow that tutorial you picked out to follow along with miss manequine..mine was wilhemena lol...honestly her directions were more confusing than marcel irons in Beauty school !

If you're going to try Brad's tutorials, follow along step-by-step as you're cutting/sectioning. I took my laptop, and played the tutorials while cutting my mom's hair. I paused and rewound as needed during the process and it turned out beautiful! Not perfect, but really nice! And it was a short cut, too!
