These guys are unreal. They keep raising the bar to levels I didn't realize were possible. Their attention to detail is something else.

Can't stress enough just how epic they are, in every single way! Special effects, make-up, costumes, setting, light, props, mixing, filming, editing, and a gazillion other things I likely have forgotten to mention! These people are the essence of Artists, and they put so much work, blood, sweat, tears, heart and soul into everything they do! And us mere mortals can all but bask in the glory they bestow upon us, and give them all our love and devotion!

first time I heard this song from VoicePlay I was playing it on my phone (but forgot I'd attached it to our super-sound-system with subwoofer)... I was sitting on a chair with my feet on the subwoofer, nearly got buzzed out of my chair... holy bleep!!!!

This is so epic a great arrangement by Geoff. Everyone is just so in character musically & visually this is a triumph. I've watched it so. many times & I still get the urge to go on a quest when that bass note drops at the end!

Geoff's arrangement. A perfect set and lighting. Authentic costumes and language. Five insanely talented singers. A desire to bring out the emotion of the story they tell. Just EPIC! This is exactly why VoicePlay is my favorite. FUS RO DAH!!! (Force, balance, push in Draconic.) I actually like how they bring in guest stars because they can tailor a piece around that guest's talent or presence. I think it makes for a greater variety of genres.

One more comment. That sequence where they're singing in dragon speech is insane.

My son works for the company that makes the Sky Rim game & he recently had an audition w/the Baltimore Symphany Choir Director for the next game soundtrack! And he's been chosen! He's so excited to know his voice is going to be in the actual game! The mix of his 2 world bubble - classical music and one of his favorite video games! And he'll be listed in the "designer team" too. He's over the moon 🎑! 🤗💕

They have just raised the bar so much this last year. I love all the effort they put in and how original they are with their takes of things. They don't keep it safe and they just slay me every time.

As to the costumes, Cesar's armor weighed 20 pounds. I used to hang out with a D&D playing Rennie who was very serious about her hobbies. She made her own chain mail armor shirt and those things can wear on the body wearing them too long.

An interesting fact about this song is that when they’re singing in chant/another language, that language they’re singing in is the language that the dragons in the game speak in. And when they shout Fus Roh Dah, they’re referring to the most iconic power in the game! I love Voiceplay and the game they took the song from, so to see them do a cover of this song was epic in it of itself! And then they just absolutely slay the dragon that is this song!!! Great reaction video brother!!!

Geoff said in the beginning of The Rains of Castamere in patreon... "The throne was uncomfortable to sit on but I did it for you" and pointed at his phone. Behind the scenes at the beginning of Voiceplay New video not yet released he said walking across the parking lot "welcome to another day of why do we do this to ourselves." Voiceplay New video is finished and ready to go when they are. Geoff New video is in production. I don't know exactly when they are going to. Probably the end of the month or beginning of next month.

If you enjoyed this, you might enjoy some of Malukah's Skyrim / Elder Scrolls content. Her Skyrim fans liked her covers so much they successfully petitioned to have her made a Bard in Elder Scrolls online. Peter Hollens does some covers with her and some solo ones. His collaboration on the Skyrim theme with violinist Lindsey Sterliing is epic.
