I agree with the #1, because if you put aside that it's the Ben Affleck BvS Batman, it is also technically a Frank Miller Dark Knight Returns Batman, as well as just a good iteration of Batman as a quintessential design. That cowl is really menacing.

All these Batman figures are cool. I still have my 3 favorites 1. Hush Batman by, Jim Lee 2. 1989 Toy Biz movie Batman 3. 1984 Kenner Super Powers Batman. The Super Powers Batman was the first Batman figure I ever had and I had great times.

The DC Collectibles and NECA Batman look awesome, well the NECA version does, but they are extremely fragile. The first NECA Batman I bought broke simply trying to remove him from the package, and DC Collectibles has shoddy paint apps and are made using some of the cheapest plastics. I wouldn't put any of them on my list, the ones I would replace them with would be 1993's Combat Belt Batman and if we must go modern the Total Heroes Batman Beyond set.

Great list. I've got simple tastes, I guess, since I have Total Heroes Batman and a few Knight Missions Batman figures. Then again, I also tend to be more of a "3 figures for like 30-40 bucks" rather than "1 real expensive figure" kind of collector. Nothing wrong with that, just different strokes.

Have you gotten the Mezco Ascending Knight? The black/grey is the perfect batman figure to me, even if it models the first appearance style more than I would like. The monoblack and the blue ones look very sharp. I couldnt rate a specific movie or comic design over the classic style of Batman.

Not sure I have 10 batman figures and I no longer own my super powers or Kenner Keaton batman. I do own the Alex Ross Justice Batman, gorgeous figure. A Mattel 66 Batman, the box set with Robin and batgirl, the Superfriends batman, but my favorite is the Mattel Arkham Origins batman. Forgot to mention my dc direct 1st appearance batman.

Nice list Brad! My #1 would be the "First Appearance Batman Masterpiece Edition." I'm a real sucker for his First Appearance look! The combination of soft goods, decent articulation, a Batarang with working belt holster, AND a wireframe cape just make this one of my all time favorite figures ever! He was a holy grail for me for the longest time, and I'm so happy whenever I see him on my Batman shelf!

Do you think we are ever going to get a well rounded, solid 6" DC line? Its 2020 and it still doesn't exist. Also, it seems like I'm the only one who likes the Enemies Among Us DC Direct batman. The articulation is lacking but the sculpt is AMAZING and the style is perfect (except the cape needs a little tweaking).

Considering the MAFEX JL Batman for under $70 but I own the BvS Mezco one, have so many pre-orders between now and Feb and the DCEU is losing actors, may switch actors. anyway so I dunno what to do but the MAFEX looks great, damnit.

Nahhh, my number one still the mafex justice league batman, i don't have the mezco bvs cause what i see that batman has a big weird chunky neck and that just ruined my interest to pre order it back in the day, and i don't know why but i really like the icons rebirth batman, i probably gonna put it in top 5, well that just my perspective XD

I just want a Keaton Batman in the NECA scale with better articulation. I have the NECA Keaton Batman, and it sucks. The cape was ripped from the moment I got it, then in no time at all one of the legs broke at the knee. So I took the head off that figure and put it on the DC Multiverse Val Kilmer Batman figure. It ended up looking a lot better than I thought it would, but it's still not that perfect Keaton Batman figure that I want. I also want a Reeve Superman in that scale with better articulation. I bought two of the NECA Reeve Superman's, and with BOTH of them one of the legs broke in the same exact place. One of them the same day that I got it. If a perfect representation of those Batman's and Superman's are ever made they will be the last Batman and Superman figures I ever buy. I have a lot of NECA figures, but I'm scared to even touch them because they are far too fragile, and that goes for the figures as well as the accessories that come with them. I don't think I have a single one that's still completely intact. If the figure itself hasn't broken then one of it's accessories surely has. I spend a lot of money on figure collecting, but when one of those figures breaks it's the equivalent of me just flushing that money right down the toilet.

The BvS suit is a mixed bag for me. The cowl looks fantastic from the front... but not such a good side profile. I hope with the live action batsuit we get a traditional/classic look just like BvS but with a bit slimmer proportions and slightly longer ears. But not too long.

The articulation is the tuning of the character. They've tuned the movements based on the character. They do that to star wars figures. They do that with cars. Why haven't you learned this stuff yet?
