Brilliant! Worked the first time, after spending a couple of months trying. My first Klik3 required a new battery every two weeks. So, I bought another, which I could not program. The final 2 clicks are what did the job; they do not show up on the instructions. Thanks!

I think one controller was six clicks and the other was 7 so there on different frequencies may be.. Amyway i like the sleek lil remote i have four cars so ill have to pick up an extra set ...thanks for video

My solution: Hold the remote further away from the opener! I had trouble where it would recognize the 6th click (solid red on the opener) but it would never 'confirm' it (red light off) after saving the programming on the remote and clicking it again. I tried it 10+ times and reset all learned codes in the mean time. What made it work for me was moving the remote further away from the opener. Once I had it down at waist height (4 feet or so from the opener) it learned and confirmed immediately! This worked for both the original remote and the KLIK3U on the first attempt vs never working when holding it right up against the opener. I suspect it has something to do with antenna hanging down and receiving a remote signal so close and causing some sort of interference on its own signal across the length of the antenna.

The two recently purchased universal remotes for the Overhead Legacy 696cd/d, after watching your video, actually opened and closed the garage door! They work [opening and closing] after being programmed only while on the ladder near the motor head [learn code] is located. Once back on the garage floor, it does not communicate, so nothing happens until your back on the ladder and reprogramming. Obviously, I have missed a step to SAVE the communicated info between the remote and motor.?.?.? UGH. Can you or anyone be of help please. I was so excited the door actually opened and closed after an exhausting couple days trying to program with absolute no luck [I concur with the other comments as I, too, tried many avenues with absolute no luck] so finding your video was GREAT! Now I just need to "save???" the information programmed from the motor to the remote so I can get off this ladder and put it away. :-) Thanks in advance for your help!
