I’m going to answer some of the most asked questions here ! 1.) can you shower with this in your hair? Yes you can shower and swim with this in your hair 2.) how long can this stay in your hair for ? Personally I leave mine in for a week then take it out but it can stay in longer. Hope this helped 💞

I did this with pony beads since I tried to do it with the beads you did it with cuz the look cuter by I couldn’t for the life of me get them to go through the hair Strand so I would recommend using pony beads to make it way easier

I’m actually researching this right now from what I found it’s a bit of ?? Yk like it stems from black culture as many black girls would wear these beads within their hair ( some being made of glass, shells, etc..) to show status but now it’s mostly used as a stylish choice. So for me personally i think it might fall under cultural appropriation because this now “ trend” was something black girls were called improper and “ tribal” for wearing it ( some schools may have banned these hairstyles as well as the African magazine refusal to allow Floella Benjamin from wearing such hairstyles) So overall there is no definite answer I can give you but please keep in mind where these styles are from and it’s history.
