I had the same experience with a cheesy pre-fab park. I went into it thinking it was terrible. But there were objects that I enjoyed and I ended up having a great time. Your attitude about skating any park means everything. 👍

Lowkey looks like a great manual/grind training park.. to sort of build up commiting and locking into grinds. 5am grind training, then go back to the Braille house and continue progression on the 3 & 5 stair. Building your new grind of the month Braille Army camp

We had a skate park with the exact same features back at home in Colorado Springs. We had a spine, quarter pipe and a mini pipe. We would go skate there every day. Also, that flat bar is awesome! You can change the height and make it into an up or down bar.

To be honest I'm kind of the same way at 34. I don't try flip tricks anymore. I just drop in, ride around, and surf. I broke my tailbone this past August so landing primo is not really an option.

This would have been the best place ever when I grew up. We didn't get a decent skate park until 1996-1997 in the Phoenix area. Desert West was the first skate park I ever went to.

An equation to help minimize objectivity in skatepark scoring? Bear with me. The following scores a park from 0 to 10: Skatepark score = (sum of obstacle scores) / (number of obstacles) Each obstacle must be scored from 0 to 10. For example if you had 3 obstacles, and they scored 6, 7, 8. The sum of obstacle scores would be 6+7+8 = 21. The score for the park would be 21/3 = 7.
