@terratenientesalgo25116 жыл бұрын
i remember having some struggle with kickflips this past week, and i learned a bunch of things not many tutorials cover too, por example 1- my back foot or front foot didn´t land on the board: i fixed it by jumping a little bit back at the same time i was flickling, that way i forced the board to be there when one of my feet want to land on the ground. 2- nof clickling the board correcly: i used to flick straigh, literally straight, and the board always went flyng ahead of me so i learned to just get my ankle loose and actually flicking (im regular) to the left and as fast as i can (sometimes i dont flick fast enough and i land primo no matter what foot position) 3- board flyng ahead of me: if you mix the little jump back and also balance your body perfectly in the middle of the board and put a little more weight on the pop (like doing a high pop shuv it) by the moment you add the flick the board will kickflip and you will land it without tryng to catch it.

What I like to do is take off one skater trainer at a time so then when all of them are off, I'm ready because I knew what it was like with one skater trainer on the nose so I feel more confident than taking off all of then off at the same time
@TheThirdErnest6 жыл бұрын
Just got me a board and some trainers. I feel like they help with confidence a lot because most beginners including me slip out easily because of lack of confidence in balance on the board while rolling. Trainers are clutch af.

Kickflip is the ONE trick I have practiced more than all other tricks combined. I don't know what the deal is with that #¤#¤& trick, but I can loose it and I have to fight really hard to get it back. On the contrary I find heel flip, varial flip, halfcab flip and even bs flip kind of easy. It's one trick that can make me really furious. I am never an angry skater...except when my kickflip disappears! xD
@peterdaniels13266 жыл бұрын
magnus soderbom .. I don’t believe that backside flips are easy for you but kick flips are not .. bull
@Labergemusic6 жыл бұрын
What do you mean? I can't heelflip to save my life but the leverage on a FS 180 heel makes the trick super easy. Same with a BS Flip.
@peterdaniels13266 жыл бұрын
Laberge .. I really don’t believe you that. Specially not on the bs kickflip... on top, check at least what bull you write in the OP. You said you even said that you can do heel flips easy, now you could not land one to save your live? DUuuuuuuDe
@Labergemusic6 жыл бұрын
You just replied to two different people. It sounds like you don't skateboard much because the OP wrote something that many of us see at real skateparks all the time. You ever play a game of skate where the guy has hardflips on lock but you get him on a pop shuv? That's very much the same thing. Some people are better at tricks than others.
@fd_skate6 жыл бұрын
The only thing bull is the idea that everyone struggle with the same stuff when skating. Everyone is different. ;-) For me the flick changes when doing the bs flip vs the kickflip. With the bs flip I flip a little bit more off the side of the board while my flick doing the kickflip is more off the nose, and for me that requires both more force and speed. It's just as Laberge wrote. When I play a game of skate against my friend, he knows he will give me a letter with the treflip because that's easy for him and really hard for me. But I can give him a letter almost everytime with a fs pop shuvit, which is REALLY hard for him, while it's the easiest trick in the book for me. Everyone is different. :-)

@Sir_Brennan6 жыл бұрын
This is why I don't like how he said to practice by catching the board with your front foot and not your back. Once you're actually ready to try landing it for real, you've already built up the bad habit of kicking your board out in front and leaning back and landing on your back foot while waiting for the board to rotate, then catching it with your front foot. Practice doing kickflips and catch it with your back foot only. Just make sure you still jump into the air like you were trying to land it. But land with your front foot on the ground, back foot on the board. That will get you used to doing a proper kickflip and will keep your body over the board the whole time.
@kiwasamuels4636 жыл бұрын
With your front foot, try flick just befor the nose instead of on the nose, and i reakon it flicks faster, and its easier to land with your front foot.
@ikaizo75556 жыл бұрын
You're jumping backwards. You got this. People seem to forget but think about this: You're just hitting a piece of wood so that it flips under you. It's not as complicated as people make it to be. Feel your way through the tricks. Dont put them in this super high regard and dont feel like you cant. Its a piece of wood.

Kids, DON'T get skate trainers, they'll only teach you incorrect technique and balance, and then you'll have to learn the trick all over again without 'em. In fact, just stop right now with the stationary kickflips. Same thing, you'll have to go through the whole process when actually riding. Just practice tricks going slow at first, then when you get more consistent, go a little faster every time. Thank me later.

i like you guys are redoing learning tricks. I wouldn't mind more videos like this with different tricks, also some harder ones like tre flip, which im working on right now haha. i think this is one of the best braille kickflip tutorial, because some new information is added to it. keep teaching, or i'll keep preaching

Kickflips messed up my one footers as i would kick out and seemed it always flipped my board. So many years where blocks of moves were just not happening, and i came back around to them

Just wanne say ,I bought myself a skateboard and its really hard ,ive been practicing from like day one to do a kickflip because hoe wouldn't wanne lurn how to kickflip its a key flip ,but ja i struggled and it was really hard and like i was at a point that i thought that i would never land it and then I just went out one day and i started practicing on the gras ,because the gras keeps your board nice and steady and it works perfectly, i really recommend that if you wanne lurn to kickflip, do it on the gras and then just do the exact same thing on pavement, its really that easy, i thought it was impossible but i promise after you land your first kickflip its a graet feeling then its like you get inner motivation and you just wanne go on and get better, i wanne thank braille skateboarding for the videos it really helped, it kept me trying and motivated me not to give up so ja ,i dont expect a response but that would be key and my ig is @machshalbich ;but i just also whant people to know that it's not impossible its only a game of not stopping ....
