What is lead time - Time between initiation and completion of process. Now what is 5S, a very basic lean tool that helps remove waste, standardizes processes and work culture, fewer accidents at work place, better reporting and much more. Hope your query is resolved.

Second maim if workplace will organized then less time will require to completion of process i.e time span will be less from starting to end hence lead time would be less.. I.e 5s is decreasing lead time instead of increasing... May it not clear yet to me... please clarify..

Maim increasing of lead time means delay as we have studied in inventory...how 5 s toll will add in delay..

If i start with the foundation 5S and i reach Step 3 "SHINE", how to align this with AM Step 1 in TPM without doing double work? I just start and the target is to implement 5S as the fundament then following the TPM Pillars. Btw. A pity you stopped your lectures, i really was excited about TPM implementation. So much to learn from you.
