So, while the meat is in the pot, are you stirring at all during those 3 hours? I learned the difference between braise and stew. I am glad you mentioned that as I might have poured too much broth into my pot when I make this. I have some frozen venison from last year's (2023) hunt, so I am going to try this with one of the pieces my brother gave me. Thanks for the info.
