Dan, Daniel my brother!! The car is coming along great! If you're serious about driving it in the winter, you'll not only need heat, you'll need a defroster. Instead of buying an auxiliary heater (which never works well), just put a new heater core, blower motor and a relay in it and be done! Less than $200, about 2 hrs labor, perfect job for content, and you'll thank me on the first icy day. 🥶 Signed - Your friend, Cancer guy 😊

I agree 100%. The aftermarket heaters usually don't even use fresh air which will make the car fog up inside immediately. Just put the original equipment heater box and blower with a new core. With all those tri fives sitting around surely some have all of the original heater parts.

Dan, the purpose or best use of the rolling work cart is that you can put all the tools,fastners,parts on it for a given task,then roll it to where you are going to work and you can put it right behind,beside you so you can work more efficiently . That said it is highly entertaining to watch you chase your tail around. Best show around!!!!

When I was reassembling my 62 C10 Rat Rod Project, a professional glass guy and I went thru 3 curved windshields before finally getting one in with cracking it. It was the standard, without the trim to deal with. Can't imagine. Hope yours goes smoother!

I can see painting the hood since he has the paint, maybe roughing it up a littler to give a patina look but I would leave the white alone, spare a very light sanding or a thinner wash over the primer blotches to minimize them.

In the past I’ve just grabbed a heater box with the core and a fan in it out of a vw golf, duct taped some of the holes in the box ran two heater hoses through the firewall, wired a a switch to the fan. Free heater that works really well

When the funds allow it, you should get a small fabrication table. That way you dont have to do fab on fenders or other body parts! More than likely Princess Auto has the small fab tables like you can get at Harbor Freight. Put casters on it and it can go anywhere in the shop you need it.

Nope, no new leaf for Dan, still using rattle can paint 🙃 I love fender well headers as long as there yours, I found out a very long time ago the shorty headers with 3 inch collectors with the extra thick flanges are the answer.
